Cataphract should plow through multiple waves of troops with less losses (which is how real world cavalry works), but the game isn't designed for that as is...
With some minor tweaking we could maybe get: Cataphract charging forward and hit all lines of enemies in their movement range that turn, dealign full damage to each line and taking full damage from each line... The Cats will die... majorly... but the units taken down would be far greater.... maybe enough to avert a negative honor scenario...
Cataphracts should have no combat stats that are worse than Cavalry. Yes, Range, I'm lookin at you. Speed and Load I can see why those would be worse.
i quoted this so it would be on another page as well, this is advice, constructive, unbiased, and any member can take what they please without expliotation, there is enough variation in this method, since it can be modified to any many degrees and still remain quite constant
