I said that was a list of MY reasons on why I preferred Werewolves according to my knowledge of the mythos. Bringing up your views of how Vampires are in no way changes my opinion.

Not according to my views of how vampires are. I think you're forgetting that they are a mythical being that almost everyone has a differance of opinion on regarding their powers and appearances. Regarding vampire movies and novels, just because something is older doesn't make it more valid, it just represents some of the original ideas on them, which others have based upon and evolved.

And a werewolf would do well, there? All that fur and no sweat glands... a werewolf would be in pure agony. It would probably die of heat exhaustion long before the vampire met his end.

Not many creatures of any sort would do well in the Sahara.
