I can manage campaigns....
somewhat...
I already have spiffy flyers to pass out... though they would only work if the mayoral candidate was offering cyberpolice to combat trolls...

A mayor's term was originally scheduled to be for a week. The time was later changed to "temporary." I like vague. In fact, I greatly prefer vague. Vague terms and term limits make me happy because then we can hold the elections whenever I'm darn good and ready to do so. Which I'm not yet. Last race was exhilarating but exhausting. It was hard-fought, and considering he had to win TWICE and endure vicious attacks and cheating, I think Elusive has earned his spot and should hold it a while longer.
I'll let you know when we can do this again. And next time, I think we might change things around a bit. Was that vague enough?
As far as I know, no-one actually involved in the actual campaign for either candidate in the last election was involved in any cheating at all and both Gary and ED were subjected to personal attacks in the run-up to the final poll. But I feel I must stress also, neither of the final two candidates in the last election were involved in any mud-slinging at all.
Elusive Death was a worthy winner as he managed to utilise his connections to gather votes, whereas Gary the Banana (also a worthy candidate) utilised a more complex campaign strategy that saw him go from a rank outsider to a close contender. I believe that if there had been no manipulation of the polls then the final result may have been much closer than it now looks.
Personally I would like to see the vote-cheats named and shamed publicly.
I still think it is too soon to be holding another election.
Maybe it is too soon, I don't know who to nominate.
