I think it was monthly elections.
I nominate myself for political hegemony in the Evony Community. However, I would prefer the appellation of "Princeps" and not "Mayor".
It is a weekly thing. You might as well start nominations now, and then vote in 3 days. So they can have an actual week for themselves.

I agree. The time for a mayor's reign should last longer, and threads like this should be delayed for a bit as imo they came to early.
