This is usually only found when one person loves another, but I'm sure there are people who get this feeling with their pet or even an object in rare cases. The type of love people refer to when they say "I love this Pizza" or gets used overly, I don't think is true love, but can be considered love, because you have a deeper fondness to it rather than just liking. This goes with loving friends as well, you may not have that mushy feeling in your heart like for your husband as you do for your friend, but its a deeper connection than just liking them. In a way I guess it may appear as the word love has been devalue'd, but I think its just different peoples interpretations of what love is.
