Good idea. :)
But i think I'm just going to go with what I've got. Lol.

I think by simply updating some of the things ON the wheel would be enough. With troop upkeep in the 10's of millions for a lot of people, more for some, 200K and 400K truly feel like a slap in the face. Same with Lumber and Iron. 200K Lumber won't make a large enough dent in my resource pile to accomplish anything.
I don't know if I agree with adding items to the wheel such as Vestas and whatnot. But scaling the wheel would be great. If my troop upkeep is 10 Million, having a 2 Million Food item on the wheel would make me feel GREAT. If my upkeep is 2 Million, then 400K isn't so bad.
If I have 1 Million Scouts, 500K archers, whatever. Obviously I'm cranking through more than 400K Lumber...
Just my 2 cents.
Adding keys to the wheel of fortune is just an incentive for the big spenders like myself to keep buying coins. They can do it if they want................Just make it really hard to get one. Put it on the top slot where the 1000 cents goes as well. I would buy more coins if they added keys to the wheel.
Ive bought so much i got 26 senior 16 junior and 53 medium medal boxes unopened...About 296 speech text 492 ivory horns.....Just to give you an idea....of how much i gamble....LOL.
How about letting us sell the ritual pact maybe at half its price or even at 3 times the price...And get something back in return for what weve spent in this game...i got 69 ritual pacts....got all of them on the wheel what would be the point in spending 50 bucks on a ritual pact..Peace all.

If this was the case i will never buy coins ever again.
Hey ebony nice of you to reply to my keys to the wheel sugestion..............its been two weeks and i havent bought cents again.....
Keys were only meant to be bought, why would there be an incentive to buy more stuff after you get a key?
Trading idea, not happening.
Sarcasm...
Try using the edit button... You kinda posted 3 times in a row. You aren't gonna buy anything just because keys are off the wheel? lol.
Here's my 2 cents on this relating to Age I only and in order of importance/annoyance.
1. Remove Ritual of Pacts as a jackpot item - yes they are valuable at the beginning but their worth is useless. TBH I don't really see the point in them anyway. I would think it would be better to encourage hosts to build a level 10 embassy as a demonstration of their leadership.
2. Add Wealth of Nations, Art of Wars and Excaliburs to the wheel - at the moment they are (with the exception of the Wealth's given to new players) a paying player's domain only.
3. Remove Quarrying tools and Advanced Quarrying tools from Servers over a certain age or from wheels of players over a certain level of prestige - the resource amounts change with prestige so this should be easy enough to do. Not as annoying as Ritual of Pacts but still a source of frustration.
4. Possibly add amulets to the wheel, a bit like a free go.
Bold text ^
And 4. I am pretty sure foxy or someone a while ago said this wouldn't be happening, no freebies or re-spins. Someone that was a higher up anyway.
I agree with number 2 and 1 being as some sort of sub-jackpot, 1, 3 I couldn't see happening even more and 4 is even moreso doubtful.
People should be content with the wheel like the characters of Conan  People take it for granted, they dont have to give you a wheel or prizes daily.
RoP is not worth 500 cents, reasoner. You can achieve the same end for the cost of a mich script in one city of the host to build a level 10 embassy. And that can be achieved without a mich script by capturing a level 10. Logically, a RoP should cost less than a mich script, in my opinion.
Reasoner - someone started a thread and I added my opinion - nothing more nothing less. I was rushed and I apologise if I doubled up on things.
My reasoning behind the removal or ROP and quarrying tools is not to remove the "booby" prizes but to remove the frustration it causes. Replace the QT's with stone for all I care - if I get stone - it doesn't frustrate me as much as getting a worthless item with a coin value.
Regards the Hero Buffs, never said they should be normal prizes, I'm sorry if I failed to be clear - I would expect them to go in slots (in addition to and not in replacement of) items such as week long produce buffs and scripts.
My main point in asking for their inclusion is the fact that they are items that are only in the paying player's domain which for a free to play game gives an unfair advantage to them.
There are so many things I could suggest removing from the wheel of c**p!
But it's not going to happen!
Like what's the point of getting 300K food when you already have 390,000,000!?!?
i know in age2 all items that can be obtained through fb should be taken off the wheel as realisticly these items no longer have any real value. they should be replaced by more low donomination cent amounts and excaliber.
Reasoner the whole meaning of my post was that people would buy more coins if they fix up the WOF once in a while.
Its obvious they are not going to do anything about it. So be it.
I aint spending a cent anymore.
LOL just to give you guys an idea of how much i've bought..............
I went into truce every night when i went to sleep for about a year straight....
I havent bought in a while.......
And i still have 70 truce items lol.
RoP needs to go away... wasted... never use
I agree w/ the resources should be a function of Town Hall- 200 or 400k does absolutely no good with someone at my level
It's a wheel people take for granted.
Resources, speakers and all of the items you can gain from facebook allies (if you linked a fb account that is.) really shouldn't be on the wheel. More of the materials (for equip upgrades), troop & build speedups, and troop/hero buffs in general, and high end medals SHOULD appear more often on the wheel.
The ability to send medals to team members like you can res or reinf would be great too.
:) Hopes the Evo God Programmers are listening to my prayer, hehe.
excalibur would be pretty cool or a rise in resources
eg 5 mil lumber as a top resource prize just a idea
I hate to disagree with you ROTA, but I do believe that the more you spend affects the quality of prizes received... either that, or there is a wheel exploit.
On s147, I think infamous now for Eric/KaizerSoze/ILOVE2COIN/4SALE7K (all same person), I would watch him spin for hours.... penicillin, 5 On War, 50 piece Holy Water, 5 On War, Senior Medal Box, 1000 cents, 5 On War, Double Saw.... etc, etc, etc... It was just astounding. My alliance would just sit back, watch - dumbfounded. EVERY spin was something useful. In between, you would see someone get rocks, then a Junior Battalion - basic junk. Then Eric spins again, and 5 more On Wars.
So I dunno .... yes, when you spend more $$, you receive more amulets, and the more you spin, the greater your chances of getting something good.... but the laws of "random" imply that you will get good w/ bad.
Thoughts?
Whole heartedly agree here. By keeping specific items off the wheel, it widens the gap between the strength of PayToPlay vs. Free Forever players.
In a game where everything is based around your hero - attacking, defending, and training army - those who do not pay for an Excalibur will continue to be at a massive disadvantage, even more so as the server gets older and hero attributes dramatically increase.
Evony does what it can to keep the playing fields even, and make this game as fair as possible for everyone involved. So why not put these game changing items within reach of everybody?
Yes, include Art of Wars and Wealth of Nations.
I actually heard a lot of talk that amulets that cost money were worst off the free ones. It is random, you can really deny it isent, and to say spending amulets gives better rewards well thats pretty silly, they're no different.
I'm not exactly against these items added to the wheel, but I'm unsure if they're intended to be....
Hmmm...
Just watched NathanX spin:
Plate Helm
Senior Guidelines
Senior Medal Box
New ID
Double Saw
15 War Ensigns
Not a bad round while I spin the two amulets I've been saving for 160k in food and a 10 piece speaker package...
Yeah .. I may be a little bitter, and yes - it's a free wheel. But when you see yourself getting schiested time and again, and people you know spend lots of money reap valuable item after valuable item off the same wheel you spin.... people start to get angry.
Yes, you said time and again through posts, that it's a FREE wheel, it's a BONUS. Tell you what - make Evony fair and take the stupid wheel out.
how about a vesta off the wheel?
;)
Only the higher level of prizes are shown on the WC though, the crappy prizes don't even get listed...
(I'm assuming it's the same in AgeII, correct me if I'm mistaken.)
The people that seem to win good every time are just using loads of Ammies and you don't see the huge amount of crap they win.
