Taking away the ability to feed a huge army will be a problem.
There are many great defenders out there that only need a few troops to defend successfully, by adjusting their troops to counter incoming.
Defenders has the edge, and heal percentage is there to balance the field to force the defender to attack, however, most defenders don't attack regardless if their honors are causing a heal handicap, and for many other reason.
Without a huge army a battle can last indefinitely against a good defenders, a pointless battle in my opinion.
Huge armies will be there, there will always be away, and if that is taken away for whatever reason, most of the remaining hardcore players will leave.
Unfortunately, we have to accept that there will be players with small, medium, large, very large, super large, and HUGE ARMIES. The size of each player's armies can be contributed to the differences in time each players have to play this game; you have your casual, part-time, full time, and those double time or no real life who contribute more than 70% plus of their time to this game.
I feel it is unfair to take away any effert these players have put to build such army size, regardless the reason.
To those who have small army, may i humbly suggest start farming npc 10s and build your army. with all the merger happening, eventually you will be facing players with well over -100 million negative in foods per hour. 100 million negative is not that difficult if you have a system, starting with location, location and location.
Let's not forget that having a huge army carries its own penalty that most often cripple the un suspecting players.
Moving seige or heavy unit do cause alot of food, and if you are not careful, you will have refugees at the end of the move.
