This Game was cool UNTIL...
I was having a jolly old time playing this game and progressively building my cities and improving them. It seemed like solid fun.
I kept adding to my defenses and I kept adding to my troops and everything was moving along nicely.
Then I wake up this morning to find out that some guy I can't even see on my map attacked me with a ridiculously huge army that I never ever had to a chance to defeat. He stole all of my resources in one, single attack and destroyed all my wall defenses.
On top of that, I found out that my entire army just sat by idly while I got plundered.... what is the point of that? Why must I click a button to allow my troops to defend my city? What a terrible feature of this game.
That's fine and all, I would have kept playing on... but then I found out that in order to compete, you have to have 10 upgraded barracks in each city... I'm wondering WHERE WAS THIS INFOS IN THE QUESTS??? Don't you think it is important for newbies to know that more barracks = faster troops - I didn't know until it was too late and I'd have to spend like 3 days making more barracks and upgrading them... BORING!
Expressing that sentiment got me kicked out of my alliance... Now what? I suppose I'll just shell out $200+ so I can get an advantage in this game like all the other winners... YEAH, RIGHT! Why are people who play for free competing against people who pay for their advantage??? IMO all those who pay should be on their own server, because the advantage they get must be great if they are willing to shell out all that money for advanced teleporters ($9, LMFAO) and Guidelines and crap to make ginormous armies faster.
:confused::mad::(
I don't even want to touch this game anymore because everything I do is insufficient compared to others. "I deserve to get my *** kicked" for not knowing to make a million barracks, according to one mate. I'm sorry, that's just BS. This game is BS, all the guys making it care about are money. Money, money, money, forget trying to make a fun and competitive experience for newbies... instead newbies just get blown out of the water by more experienced people who are willing to shell out money to win a dumb *** browser game. Hah.
Goodbye Evony.
