Great Simple Idea - no really!!!! AgeII
I have a great idea.
Played alot of Age I - quit do to life and needing one - heard AgeII was easier on the time needed so signed up.
Have to say many exciting changes, however some (like hero energy and HHero) are allowing players that want to be priz in 3 days and spend 500 bucks to do it more advantages.
The colonization improvement is nice because new players will not get pillaged off the map and so the ones that do give up are not right for the game. But it is too soft, too many empty cities just sit, it needs some changes, and some more war!
I propose that if someone has more then 2 cities they can loose one with a smiliar mechanic as Age I, tweaked for rebellion or something. Of course those that have more then 2 are way out of BP or spending to get out and should know what is what.
If someone is colonized for more then 30 days without attempting one uprising (you only need one soilder for an uprising) the city should have the option for a final wipe from the map. It is obvisious that they are not home anymore so let it go! This slows down crazy npc production but allows the big boys to grow.
I think the division between the casual player and serious gamer can be more developed yet coexsist with some refining in these areas. A problem many had with Age I, yet I do miss me some pillaging! What the heck do I do with 5k in carts now :(
