what do u mean 1*** spawn?
It doesnt matter how many archers you send, once your hero reaches a certain attack you dont even need layers with 90k arch.............the only reason you lose arch is b/c of traps and that the ats get 2 rounds of fire b4 you can kill them, and if you have arch 9 or lower then the ats get even more rounds of fire..................so unless HCs give some kind of range bonus that im not aware of then sending from a lvl 16 will do nothing and your going to need one massive intel hero to get the extra life needed to survive the traps and ats better.....................TIP: the more layers you send the less archers will die at the traps, try sending 2k of each from work to phract for minimal arch loss on the traps.
But i am looking forward to seeing what reports people post here :)
My Sesame Street friend is correct about the number being sent not reducing losses after a certain point. In Age I, yeah. In Age II, no.
In Age II there is a tipping point when it comes to troop numbers and losses.
For example, in Age II (numbers are not real, just an example)
If I send 5000 archers my losses will be 5000
If I send 10000 my losses will be 10000
If I send 20000 my losses will be 18000
If I send 25000 my losses will be 10000
If I send 30000 my losses will be 5000
If I send 40000 my losses will be 5000
If I send 60000 my losses will be 5000
If I send 100000 my losses will be 5000
This tells me that 20,000 is the minimum number to send just to win and that 30,000 is the min AND max number to send for best cost/performance ratio. Sending any more than 30,000 is a waste.
30,000 is what I call the tipping point. Try it in Rally Spot > Exercise and play with the numbers. You will learn that in Age II losses are reduced to a certain number and that number does not go down more regardless if you send a crap load more troops.
