There is your Candy Lesson for the day.
Brought to you by our sponser Halloween!!
Whenever I see candy I always pluck out the colored tootsie rolls and 100-Grand bars.
EDIT: ^ I've never seen smarties come in a box. Just in the twist paper.
**picks away all the peanut butter bars**
Thanks!!:D
your more likley to find them in a tube like this ...

I prefer apples with the razorblades.
I've only seen the ones that flames posted. The ones JPA posted are called something else. (Not sure if it's Fizzers.)
those are so last year...
these are all the rage now...

There's more than 1 rock :O
Grab some from here:

I want the Rock - it will be crunchy!!!
And smaties over here are sugar coated chocolates.
Edit - Nerds are evil ... ate some once and ate half a tooth with it as they broke it!
Does it matter if it is fizzers or smarties, candy is candy now lets eat.
TRICK OR TREAT
Just a random question slightly related to this thread: Is Lays the equivalent to Walkers? Also, they're known as crisps across the pond, not chips. If you say chips here, it would mean what you call fries. Additionally, I've rarely ever heard people say candy, unless they're doing an impersonation or something.
:: nods :: The whole crips/chips/Fries thing is really annoying when holding a convo with a american!!
You wouldnt think we speak the same but diffrent language!
We have those too. Smarties are made by Nestle while M&Ms are made by Mars. (I think.) Therefore, the chocolale within is different.
Oh yeah, the only reason I know all the American words for things is due to the sheer amount of movies and TV programmes (not shows) that are American.
happy halloween

Have pity, fill now! :D
*Ahem, er...* Trick or treat?
誰もが言うことはできます"ロストイントランスレーション?"
Give me some of that candy!!!
Though you'll definently regret it later, heh, heh.
Thats weird, I always see them in a box. And with those twist paper those are called "rockets" here. Both are very different taste from each other imo.

So yeah... The smarties we have are chocolate inside, like MnMs, but a bit thinner.Quote:
In the United States, Smarties are a type of artificially fruit-flavored candy produced by Ce De Candy, Inc. from 1949 through the present. They are marketed in Canada under the brand name Rockets, to avoid confusion with Nestl? Smarties. The original product is the English Fizzers from Swizzels Matlow. In 1949, the brother of the chairman of Swizzels Matlow travelled to the US and established Ce De Candy. The candies bear a strong resemblance to tablet-style pills in shape and texture.
My dad is always the most popular house in the neighborhood. He gives out full size Reeses peanut butter cups.
I like more fruit flavored candies, like starburst, or jolly ranchers, etc... Especially the sour stuff, like lemonheads.
Rota, Starburst and Jolly Ranchers are the second best compared to Reese's, now what's your fathers address i'm on the way.
I still liked one of my grandmother's neighbors. He'd meet us at the door with a huge glass jar of assorted coins...including Silver dollars and half dollars. :D
Aww man. So nice of you to shoot down my Halloween hopes. http://www.amperordirect.com/mm5/web...cons/fubar.gif
