With the resourses for building the army would be twice the amount as regular wood & iron prices would increase. With extra food to sell because of no upkeep food would decrease to the price of stone. Theirfore non spenders that like to play farmville can sell their extra wood & iron and buy cheep food.
I look at it as it coast more to buy a happy meal at McDonalds then to buy a whole month of non farming time.
A few ideas:
I would love to see an item that allows you to trade in unwanted items. I really don't see myself ever using all the ritual of pacts that I have stocked up. Maybe even make it something only able to be done during certain times of the year..like a traveling market has arrived in town, sell your goods and get a credit. Of course we know on a resell we'll lose money value but hey, it's better than it sitting in the inventory covered in dust. ;)
For every so many chests sitting in your inventory, you can trade them in for a script or a tp or maybe a smaller chest.
It would also be pretty nice to have some wall packages. Something that would allow, say, 25 arch towers to instantly go up but make it a premium win item on the wheel so people don't have too many of them sitting around.
