The "bait" strategy to force a capture was my idea...
If that won't work because you are on a no-attack Age 2 server, then there is another idea I had. But, it requires a TON of coordination.
1) Capture a level 1 flat and build a temporary city there.
2) Use the bait strategy to prompt an attack from the solo HC player.
3) Once you see the bird flash, double check that the HC is the city attacking you.
4) Abandon the city so it's a level 1 NPC.
5) Your alliance mates send coordinated fast attacks at you with just horses and scouts (for speed).
6) The attacks from allies should be 1 attack shy of the insta-cap strategy of a level 1 NPC, and all timed to hit BEFORE the HC attack lands.
7) The last attack from an ally lands on the new NPC, just 10-20 seconds before the HC attack hits. This last hit leaves LOY of the level 1 NPC at just 1 point.
8) The HC player hits and captures. He/she now has a worthless level 1 NPC he can't abandon because of the recent "last city" fix. You may now capture the HC.
That is probably more coordination than most alliances can handle. It's also not likely a smart player in the HC will take the bait, or will recall at the last second if he/she keeps an eye on the target. But, if it works, it's an EPIC story! :D
