Funny thing is JP that OL has been number 1 for so long no single alliance could even come close to touching us, USMC who had my word that OL would never go to war with them made the dummbest move i have ever seen and declared war on OL 22 hours before we went for 0,0. The main OL alliance alone has over 100 pages or pure USMC war reports and then we went after 0,0 in the middle of the war. Outlaws cant be touched, 8-16s 0,0 40-14s and hundreds of 12s are in our hands.

I imagine that there were some pretty big waves sent out of all the Outlaw 16's, 14,s, and 12's, which is pretty much the way I believe Evony intended things to go.
There were yes, that was the wave that cracked it, sent a mill balls at it to crack it. It is key to have 16s and 14s
Give it time. Nobody likes someone to be on top forever, not even their best friend. Usually what happens before Atlantis is capped is a massive pull together by lots of strong players and others on the server. They all want to be in the alliance or sister responsible for initially capping Atlantis. Then after the peak has been reached players start to break away into rebellion fractions. I mean, what fun would the game be if you had no competition? You WANT other players to fight you and for the fight to be a challenge. And if things don't change you can always break apart your alliance on purpose in order to create competition. Go hostile with all your sisters and allies. Kick out half your alliance and go hostile on the entire server. Remember, the game is what you make it. So if you DON'T want competition, great, keep the mafia thing going. But if you DO want competition, shake stuff up.
First off Congrats on taking Atlantis, 7th Captured in the Age 2 Word, 4th with Catapults So a great Effort, I think its been a long time coming :) .
1 minute 40 seconds is a fast time, given the fact its Atlantis, but damn man holy hell 375 waves, god I don't even want to know the over kill used lol, Our Capture was about 197 Waves, including 42 Loyalty, 42 Waves Of Scouts Bombs, 57 Archer Waves vs Warriors( About 10 of them were overkill), 44 waves of Pike vs the phracts.

Looks like you guys had a lot of waves hit at the same time, that really why this ballista wave under preformed kill less then half of what it could have killed.
It Intressting way to look at it, when i originally planned it we had a lot of waves hitting on the same second to make it a faster capture, but i later calcd that spreading it out over 5 mintutes with gaps would provide the most effective and efficiently on troops, that's why are attack was a no mech wave attack.
I Don't think 16s are really key to taking it, except for bigger waves and less Xcals, 14s on the other hand your right these are key, 80% of ya waves should come from HC14s using HH, otherwise it would be painful, but given the fact you guys send 375 waves, I think with that amount of overkill could have used even LV10 Rally Spots.
I Think one of the most notable things about your capture is that you use most of your Alliance, I'd be Love in knowing how many people helped out, for you to get that mass of troops.

Heh Given the Fact you guys have 7 Sister Alliances if you guys didn't control the server I think every would be confused.
Outlaws Alone may not have the highest Historic Count by as its self, but as a Family of 8 Alliances, it easily does, Would be great to see Outlaws on a SS.
Just to clear up a few things.
that hit posted is not the hit that "cracked" atlantis, you'll notice there were almost 11 million warriors and the hit killed less than 1 million, and the 183k catapults remaining still needed to be cleared.
it was taken on the 351st hit, slightly less than the 375 waves mentioned, although there were waves still inbound.
there were 20-22 players involved, i don't feel the need to actually go back and count exactly who sent.
and yes there was significant overkill involved, although with that many players to spread out the losses, i feel it was well worth it, and i doubt anyone was left seriously short of troops afterwards.
first off, it is up to the other players on the server to do their best. I'm gonna take a wild guess that too many people in Age 2 are babies, the kind who whined about the HC drafts and many of whom quit the day they were colonized.
as for HC's, its not that hard. I know whereof I speak, having taken 5 HC's solo, including a 14. I still see many HC's surrounded by players or alliances, and they have been that way for months. Seeing the same on your server?
My own opinion is that Age 2 players tend to be overly cautious almost to the point of cowardice vis a vis HC's, and give up way too easily. Sounds like server NA3 is no different with the exception of the outlaws under dirty harry

It's been a while since I've taken one, but that's what I remember.
I know NPC's don't... I thought they took it from a player. I guess I just misunderstood the OP. :D
I thought this statement implied they took the city from Storm or USMC...
The screen pic that showed a level 100 "QUEEN" as a defending hero also made me think the defender was a player. Are all NPC historics ruled by a 100 "king/queen," or just Atlantis?
