Ive always used,

2k each of Warrior, Transports, 4k of scouts and 92k archers

Mixed results, archer loss never more than 5900, normally around 4.2k

this is used with a 250+ attk hero....

i utilize various formula's when combatting lvl 10 npc's only when they vary in att...
96k archers, 2k wars, 2k trans - 250 att +
93k archers, 2100 wars, works, 2800 scouts - 200-250 att
91k archers, 2k wars, works, scouts, pikes, swords - 150 - 200 att....

I've always used 95.6k arch, 2.5k warriors, and 1.9k transports. simple, easy, and effective.

Your 150-200att attack for lvl 10 goes over 100k
You would have to use war ensign every time and wheres the transports cause when your that small on attack your after the food lol

personally i think that your first combination works the best both on ageI and ageII it gives good drop items and allows you too get the max food you also take less archer losses which are slower too build than the others

I like the Flemsta's Avatar . Ever is the very nice game, Flemsta's Avatar were my favorite characters; Flemsta's Avatar for his fierce yet rash behavior, and Tesshin for his commanding air. Both had very good swords, Tesshin especially.

For a long time now I've sent only one combo at level 10's:

4k warriors, 4k scouts, 90k archers, and 2k trans.

It's not THE best formula out there, but it's one of them. Not only is it easy and quick to fill in the numbers and send, but also it yields universally mild to low losses on any sort of hero that's above 150 att. I also almost forgot to mention that each of these troops is already very common, so you have very little hassle of recruiting and keeping those troops in your army, especially for other purposes than farming. ;)

Also, I've found that the combo yields a high drop of mikey scripts, and some holy waters also come out of it. :)

My attack depends on my hero level
attack 250+ = 95k arch, 1k war,work,scout 2k trans
attack 225-250 = 93.5k arch, 1.5k war,work,scout 2k trans
attack 200 = 92k arch, 2k war,work,scout 2k trans

I always lose between 5k and 7k arch plus the fodder - which is less expensive than the standard war,pike,sword

M favorite combo in 90100 archers 2k workers 2k warriors and4k scouts.

91000 archers, 1.5k workers and warriors, 4k scouts and 1.9k trans for me.....leaves 100 extra troops...but its to annoying to add them somewhere

i have a special combo in which i only lose 6k archers and 15k archers getting 200m food off 1 npc... :D

I'm more interested in actual combos that might be useful than jokes but thanks for the post.

My fave is still 2k work, war, scout, cart and 92k archer

I've tried almost every other combo listed in this thread and this is most consistent for return to loss payback

Best formula for 300+ heroes is

3k war 3k scout 92k arch 2k porters

losses are between 4k-5.5k archers

and btw I scouted to check if the npc is filled with food not for a low level hero

because "scouting for low level hero is better" theory is a myth

Haven't read all posts but I use 90150 archers 2k warrior/worker 4k scouts and 1850 trans average between 3800-5000 losses, works well with all my heros

wow must have missed that in stats but really could not find one hero of yours over 500 attack?

you can farm 10s with 35k arc if you want but does not mkean its your favorite att combo cause usually people farm with more then one hero and even with more then one hero per city... then your fav att combo would been something that works for all 10 farming heros thought

70k to 80k arc is a big difference to 50k arc... just saying

yes music and dancing is ways more fun then dealing with numbers agree with that.

you cant farm with 50k archers and a 300 hero, a 300 hero isnt even gettin 10 rounds yet.

You can attack with 70k archers with a 300-att hero, although i wouldn't advise it...

If the fight goes 12 rounds, you're looking at a 20k archer loss.

I should know, because it happened twice on the same day to mine...

400+ attack is a different story though. Your losses get more into the range of normal farming waves, so I'm not sure where your hero gets to a point where it's strong enough to be sent with low numbers of troops.

try this 90998archers 1pike 1sword 2kwarriors 2kworkers 3kscouts 2kcarts u will lost around 4.2karchers-5.8k

Alright... I saw the word "farming" so i thought i would post how i medal farm and hero xp farm 10s.
Send the spearhead for me i do 96k arch 2k warr 1k work 1k scouts. (when farming for medals the trans arent necessary if you send enough waves)
Once those troops get back (if your wanting to farm that hero for xp, otherwise just send right after that hit) send a wave of 80k-90k back at it again. The hero will get quite a bit of xp and you only lose about 4k to 5k per hit. Continue this process until you want to stop or your arch number dips down lower than 40k (after that you lose about 9k per hit).
This is the best way to get Justice medals and Nation medals and theres always the chance for more treasure.. (I have gotten a triple drop before, Justice, Speaker, Mickey Script)

And thats how i do it :)
NOTE: I take about 7k loss on the spearhead wave above with a lvl 180 att hero :)

Wasn't the medal drop rate adjusted for the SS's as well as any server past s80? ..just curious if there are any servers open where medal farming should factor into your 10 farming config..

btw, 4k warr, 4k work, 90k arch, 2k tran is my favorite.. 200+ heroes 4-6k arch loss..

ya, but jurnis was right and wrong with his statement, i farm 10s with heroes as low as 110 with no war horn with stable 7k losses.

formula for this being 90k archers 1k sword/pikes 2k work/war/scout/trans, 14 rounds.

i am so damn lazy in farming - also training troops back ... i simple send out 93k arc 1200 work 3k scout 2k trans and that with my 1k + hero asn with my 500 and 300 - even those under 300 do their job when horn on (i am in love with the fav bottom)

my one and only told me this combo before that i used the 90k 1kwor 1kwar 4kscout 2ktrans

the only plus of farming with low arc is the extra prestige gain but i dont need that -lazyness wins hehe

And I could say the same about you. I haven't seen you in battle and neither have you seen me. If you base what is a good player from what you see in these message boards then it makes me question your ability.

I didn't say you were bad, I actually did base my opinion on you by your posts, in that judging by your posts.. you seem terrible. You might be the best player in the game, but its quite highly unlikely.

As for the doctorate nonsense... do both? Just because you have a degree doesn't mean you have to suck at this game.

What I meant was having a doctorate in real life is far more important than worrying whether your're good at a game. I actually know someone who is both brilliant at this game and has a doctorate.

I play Evony to enjoy it, not to make something of myself (who's gonna care anyway we're avatars after all) or to try and be the best at it, to me it's not important. If I out play someone, awesome, if I don't then well played by that other person.

I can't see how you quite got to the impression I was bad at this game, why because I don't see the need to have mech, have huge armies or take the mickey out of silly people who can't let a stupid disagreement go. I do in fact play fairly, if others have to cheat to get a head in my humble opinion that does make me better than them.

What I can tell you is you can send 50-60k archers with a hero that's around 380 attack, I know 'cos I've done it, just silly me for not having the foresight not to have a Evony URL to hand.

However, I do have 3 heroes over 500 attack, 2 around 400 and my main hero is around 800 attack. Yep it has a excali attached. All gotten legit too. My pres when I last looked (health issues have kept me from playing) was around 23 mill. I don't parade this info because it really doesn't matter to anyone but me.
