well, without delving into any arguments too much, i'll just say thanks for the info all. its an interesting anwer.
i'm fairly sure its wrong of evony to do this, but hey, it ain't my rules and it ain't my game.
You mean therefore there are certain mods that don't play evony then :p Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
The answer was given by a very active and experienced member of the forum as you can tell from their title, number of posts etc. This is usually a good indication of the quality of the reply most of the time. Not giving flak here, just giving you an option to form an opinion if the advice given is likely to be sound.
Wow, you got a few mods out of the woodwork.
I haven't checked the reports yet but if it is 40k ATs then presumably that would arise from a player getting double their ATs when unbanned whilst they had a load building. That would be consistant with a post I read a few months back on this subject.
Not all mods are actively playing the game.
Some mods have retired their in-game accounts.
Others still keep their accounts alive just to spin the wheel / catch up with old mates / mess in world chat.
But all of the mods played Evony at one point or another.
See Rota's post that I quoted earlier:
