you should take a smaller picture
How do I post it as a huge pic I don't know how...
pm acer or raven they can help u out lol
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT! I can help.. lemme pull out my quote tut on upload.
Hope this helps.Quote:
1. Direct your browser to imageshack.us
http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/5...ageshackxy.jpg
2. It's a good idea to create an account. No personal information really required if I remember. If you don't, you can only post it up for others to see, but I don't believe you can access the image links and details/settings again.
http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/300/shacksignup.png
3. Upload an image, pretty self-explanatory (you already know how to take a screenshot evidently)
4. Take the "direct link"...
http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/5194/dirlink.jpg
5. Go back to the forums. edit your post (or create), and to insert the image you can either go like this (typing it) [IMG]DIRECTLINKHERE[/IMG] and it will show... if it doesn't, make sure you check your typing
or you can insert the image without much of the grunt work... copy the direct link... When you edit the post, you will see a few icons... Look for the one with mountains and a sun. Click it, and then paste the Direct Link into the small window that appears and hit enter. Your image will appear and you don't have to do the [IMG] and [/IMG] image tags which are easy to mess up.http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/1759/mtnsun.png
[END]
I just use the [img] tags outright. No need to press any fancy schmancy buttons.
acer, some people don't understand tags. Took me a few months to figure them out. Not saying that was a bad post, just, imo, a little too general.
Also, I like the button because of the fact that it will show the image ahead of time when you are editing the post, which helps avoid image tag fails.
Oya, and second tag needs to be [/IMG] kind of HTML like if you know it.
Well you know, imageshack, ploader, and photobucket all give you the tags anyways.
and [img]http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt69/hollow_shinji312/wrightkips.png[/img] isn't that hard to do ;)
I find simply typing out one half of the image tag, then ctrl v then the other half, continue with the rest of the post.
It kinda makes everything flow easier when writing a post imo
i actually love seeing other peoples war cities, especially their income, that always fun to see how much food they have to farm, every single day.....
u call that a war city? u should see mine
I cant even see it
I personally just remote cap 10s and use them as my war cities :P
it is nice "thumbs up" lots of scripts there. But if you have instant troops hero and instant poly you only need a fresh lvl 10 just replace the stables, forge & workshop with cots to increase idle pop with everything at lvl 10 it will be an instant mayhem, provided you have the reso
I already got troops and don't need 'emergency' anything, unless of course you're wearing a nurses outfit. If I need boost the pop I just stop the production. Also, I don't have instant Mech. so needs must...
Thanks, I agree, capping tens is great to get up close and personal, not everyone has high hero's for instant troops or defences though.
I'll never understand why anyone would call a war city a city that they've actually wasted time on.
A good city for warring in my eyes would be comprised of:
Level 10 walls
Level 10 FH
Level 10 Rally
Level 9 academy
Level 10 Beacon tower
Single level 9 Barracks
A couple of cottages for quick pop.
That's what you need to be able to attack and defend. Now for the rest of the spots
Warehouses, and quarries.
Why?
It's a war city, a war city is the city you're going to fight with. A smart player knows that defeat is a possibility, and if anything, the war city is the one that's going to be hit and lost. On the chance that that city gets taken, do you really want to give your enemy a nice shiney city ready for mass pult production? Not really.
What you want to do is make sure that whatever your enemy is getting from you isn't worth the effort of beating through your troops. You should keep resources low (Except food to feed your army) and the city itself as unappealing to the eye as possible, you shouldn't be throwing mich scripts at it.
A level 10 npc may be good for a quick war city, but if you're going to take time and do work on it, instead of building up you want to vandalise, let the neighbourhood kids loose with a couple of cans of spraypaint.
lol this is my war city
in battle field you still need to build catapult ?
'm not
:flame::flame::flame:
your heros must not be very good why would you want so many barracks ?
The point of idle pop is so we are able to build both troops while reso production is in progress, I admit I use to do the same thing and have 20 racks and stop production, yet how ever I found it took far to long for the idle pop to increase before i was able que again. Yet every way is good as long as it works ;)
I like to keep my war city in full production while attacking, and get myself a steady flow of more troops. These quick fixes don't really satisfy my desires to the extent they do you. I go in stacked to the brim and really hungry, hit any and every 'RED' I can for resources and port to a new area, before they even look at the War Reps so I never need emergency troops. I port back to my base when I've either run out of troops, got a shed load of resources or have to face a few too many annoying hours defending, definitely need a nurse after that.
You mean you don't? WoW! you must have reached nirvana or something because I can't afford to stop training troops.
I'd be the first to admit, compared to the 'Big Hitters' on my server, mine are crap. But hey they occasionally feel so generous they give me a few :knight:
I use 'increase population' when I remember it cuts down the time, but I don't do it all the time just to get a good 'Q' going. If it works for you then how it can't be wrong.
Like I said 'Each to their own.' I do it my way, the way I am comfortable with. If there is a better way then I'll learn it one day, and maybe stand a chance against the Biggie's.
man, you just don't get it and obviously have no clue about a war-city. yours as a fact is (as stated before) a nub pult city for a weak hero. when you are talking about "quick fixes" then i have to break it to you: you can only produce as many troops as you have pop for.
as soon as your hero reaches 740+ you shouldnt be needing more than 5 rax anyways... and even you should have figured that out by now.
it's a pult farm for nubs, no war-city... however, one credit i do give you is: ANY city you call war-city, load up and port out, is a war-city, but that alone doesnt make it a good one.
greetings
You're opinion is noted however there's a saying that's quite apt, "It's not what you got, but how you use it." And having all these barracks boosts my troop count considerably as I don't have instant troops.
I have no clue, I am a noob, and you know much more than me.
I still call it my 'warcity' and if you find it on your doorstep, it will be too freaking late.
calling someone a noob because they dont have a 740 attack hero is stupid, if you have farmed for that log your called a EVONY FINATIC, and only a few thousand people ever reach that point. He is not a noob but an average player, with a good war city for his strategy.
116700 not 0 production rate yet
but have something wrong on that city
i dont have Inn for recruit hero
in battle field Inn is very indeed :)
btw in my opinion war city is the city that you dont want to build mech anymore
whatever hero lvl
market and Inn is very indeed too
market is for resource you didnt know where you landing if you port war city you still need resource in case emergency
Inn is always necessarly for recruit hero for spam or attacking when you losses hero
Outbound construction no comment
some1 said half of sawmill and Ironmine
for me food is important
There seems to be a difference of opinion as to what you guys would call a good war city. And many of you seem to think you know better than me. You may do, but I'd like to see it so either put your screen shots up or shut up! Either way is good with me.
Best way to wage war is to not have a special 'war city'
Just cap npc10's and jump from 1 to the next to the next to the next every 10-12 miles apart to get from red flag to red flag to red flag. Works nice and in 3-4 hours you can wipe out 2-3 enemies from 1mile out.
Ofcourse this works better with a big hero.
