Ace got kidnapped by aliens who said if he kept doing the sentinel they would blow up evony and the forums, so Ace being the hero he is decided to gracefully shut it down :)

I heard, The aliens broke his pc also, as a threat.
I heard he was a alien, and created the sentinel to communicate with us.
You got it all wrong everyone. The alien was the Sentinel and Ace was threatening to continue using it as his own.
No no, everyone has it wrong. The alien was the hidden text of the Sentinel, and Acer is just a sucker for hidden text, so he had to discontinue it.
well either way there was aliens involved. and prolly some threat of probes (though from which ((aliens or ace)) we'll never know).

well really the answer is i kidnapped ace and turned him into a fairy :) so now he cant write the sentinel cause he's too busy :D
I heard that the computer he was writing it on in November broke and that he really hasn't had the time to make a new one.
I've also heard that he was in fact kidnapped by Lazzzzzzy and is currently being held for ransom at an undisclosed location.
