I think being a Staff Sergeant in the military helps me here when im hosting lol

So experience in middle-management certainly helps.

Good post, I disagree with a few things but all in all a good post
Many hosts are different, and not every one of them has to be the same. Therefore I see no reason in creating a thread stating how to be a good host when there are many ways to do such thing.
Many good points. Thumbs up \m/
"I can do your dirty work, but i'm not going to be the host"
yes to many rules is bad ad host needs to know what is goin on with the state and other alliances if ur out of touch with what is goin on and ur members r suprised to much thell def leave
I totally agree with you Lazzzzzzzzalicious, Leaders delegate.
I hate Host's that just appoint their officers. Ask them first, half the time they dont wont the roll, the rest of the time cant do what is needed.
Good subordinates, rules, and ppl that understand the chain of command is what helps make an alliance great.
Usualy when a host appoints a rank that doesn't ask for it, they neglect the responsibilities, so your right .
I never said it makes you the 'perfect host', the 'best host' or whatnot, it says how to be a good one. And tbh, if most hosts stuck to these points, the only reasons for disbanding would be a war..
And tbh, i've never been in an alliance with a 'great' host.. Usually the Vice Hosts and Prebyseters are the best leaders in the alliance. The people with most authority sometimes..
how to be a good host???
two words:
BE FUNNNNNNYYYYYY!!1!!!!!
My host is me. Ive never needed alliances to plunder why start now.
To be a good host...Dont farm your members?
Dont steal there stone?
a hosts job should be to keep a finger constantly pressed on that declare button lol
Why do people critic its just advice let the person choose to either follow it or not.
is this thread still alive? There is no way to put into a thread what is needed to be a good host.
