Is this real life?....Or just a game.
I can't help but notice on my server as well as some of the comments here on these forums that how many people take this game so seriously.
No one can like everybody but why do we have to turn what could a fun way to spend a few hours a day in to a personal quest to get that somebody just because you can't distinguish between passing smack talk on WC just because your alliances are at war with each other & a personal threat.
Why is it that important? Why does running someone out of the game give you gratification? Out playing someone, yes but harassment & spreading nasty rumors, I can't see how it does. Sure, you get to boast how you managed to make John Doe quit, but after a few days the server moves on & no one really cares about you little triumph anyway.
No one should make racist, homophobic or real life threats on anyone. This is totally unacceptable, but what I'm trying to also convey is, is there any need to take things to heart so much that we let our egos override what is essentially nothing more than a game.
So lets drop the pot stirring and bullying. Lets go back to pitting alliance against alliance using strategy & troops. And remember folks it's a game, not real life.
