Stupid things "smart" people do

I agree with everything but number 3 i mean if we did not do that how would small countries like japan fit 120 million people in 300k sq miles. For the time being earth is the only thing humanity has and we need to use the limited space we have wisely to fit the millions of people that are born everyday and still leave room to plant crops and preserve the little bit of nature we have left.

Well, here are my thoughts:
1. Using extremely dangerous stuff (Nuclear) to create power
Why can't every home have its own power source? Hydrogen power? Or a combination of solar,wind,thermal (underground),gas? Then network all the home in an area together and they can all "share" power generation? Why supply from a central point like a power plant? Why not distributed power instead of centralized?

2. Traveling 30,000 feet above the earth at 500mph.
Humans are not designed to fly. We are designed to run, and maybe ride an animal. Say a horse. So we should not be traveling faster than a horse could take us. If we do then our risk of death increases alot.

3. Packing millions of people into a small area called a city
If the population of an area cannot self-sustain then the population is too concentrated. IF all the stores in Tokyo disappeared and all the plumbing stopped working, could everyone sustain themselves? Polution, Sewage and sickness is also a problem. Lots of people all close together helps sickness spread faster and infect more.

4. Building really tall buildings
Why can't we build building down instead of up? Subterrainal buildings that go down really deep. Leaving the surface for farming and green stuff. Not streets and power lines and earth suffocating crap.

5. Covering large areas of the ground with concrete, asphalt and other things
See #4. The earth is like human skin. It needs to breathe. IF we cover it with crap then it cant breathe and gets "sick". Polutants and crap build up. Like unhealthy pours on your skin.

6. Becoming dependent in electricity.
Biggest mistake, ever, in the history of mankind. And it all started just 100 years ago. We need to be able to switch off electricity for 3 months and not really be impacted. If we can't do that then we have created something that we rely on for life. If all the electricity in the world was cut off, no more cell phones, batteries, computer, etc... most people in cities would die. The people best off in this day and age are those who live in remote areas away from "modern" things like electricity. If electricy was cut off around the world, it would not effect them. They would keep fishing and hunting and picking veggies and waking up with the sun.

i completely disagree here, i think we are actually designed to fly
if you except the fact that we were designed at all, i think it's safe to say our intellect was part of the design, the fact humans fly is a direct result of our ability to create new technologies

absolutely no argument from me on this point urban growth is out of control, but what is the solution? (seriously i haven't a clue)

well... this is a bit far fetched. you see if there were no electricity then none of your underground dwellings... unless you expect a whole sub-race of people to live underground while another live above farming and supporting the underground race... hmm, sounds a bit like a few movies i've seen.
anyway electricity is the driver of our technology and without technology we don't advance, we would still be in the dark ages medically. maybe that's your point... without electricity we wouldn't be able to support the population we currently have. sure we've messed up the planet, as a species we've made some gigantic mistakes, let's learn from some of the mistakes and fix it

Yes, eating raw meat is better for us. The enzymes are good. Love me raw meat (like fish) and dried meat, like jerky. Not cooked. Even raw beef is cool. But I prefer dried meats like jerky.
As for sleeping in a tree, sure. lol.....
