Death toll is in the 200s and rising.
I'm glad I don't live in a place with tornadoes.
The city I live in was actually right in the way of all those storms with tornados and golfball sized hail.
For some reason it split and went completely around us just like all the other bad storms that miss just my city. The city was in sunshine while literally 5 minutes away there were tornados being sighted and hail ruining everything.
With all these natural disasters happening around the world, I'm glad I live in a place that has none.
I know some friends in Georgia that had a car in their backyard that the tornado picked up... It had an Alabama license plate and had a Tuscaloosa dealer on its license.
Hmm...I wonder what could possibly happen. There are no volcanoes, we're not on the edge of any tectonic plates, no hurricanes, no tornadoes (well there might be the odd tiny one in some random place that would only take some tiles off the roof), no nuclear plants and that's all I can think of. The only thing that happens is minor flooding but nowhere near the level of being a disaster. :p
EDIT: I'm not counting any apocalyptic scenario such as a meteor landing in the Atlantic Ocean right next to us and causing a tsunami.
A famine could happen. You guys have had several of those.
The last one was 1845 - 1852 so that's doubtful, especially since we don't depend entirely on potatoes anymore. It was the potato blight that caused it, so that wouldn't happen again in this day and age.
I classify that as an apocalyptic scenario.
A country could "accidentally" drop a nuke.

We have been hit before by "accident". It's not going to happen in this modern day though with the technology that's around. (Don't say technology sometimes fails.)
Germany was like "Oh, was that Dublin? We thought it was Belfast." :duh:Quote:

I don't think Mr. Storm looks happy according to the news.
