It would reduce clutter but I fear doing so would eliminate some of the drive that comes with competition. Knowing your opponent made one mistake and capitalizing on it is exhilarating.

He's mimicking the rules of jeopardy, I see no reason why it should be changed. Its a simple format rule, if you cant get it, then maybe you dont deserve it.

You run the risk. Just like with the Daily riddle thread, I just try to trust and hope that people have a little more integrity than to cheat.
