I was talking to a friend from Germany a few months ago and she said they start learning British English then have a choice if they want to continue with British English or take American English. They also learn 2 foreign languages, one is usually English and the other is a choice.Quote:

As already stated though, there isn't much difference between "American" English and "UK"/"British" English.
