Heroes were lost due to yesterday's outage from attacks sent before the downtime and not being able to defend or send gold to keep from revolting while the server was down.

lmao enjoy playing the game? lmao ya know, im not even gonna comment on that, but i know for a fact in the past month 200+ players have left this game including myself and started playing runescape, alot more fun, no BS reports and they help the people that play on there. if theres a problem, you dont get a bs answer on a report ticket...evony used to be fun but now its more about the MONEY!!!!

Milk and Cookies, the reboot made things a little close for comfort, after a cut lunch kind of day.
A suggestion, if the servers need to be off for half an hour instead of 15 mins, to prevent this from occurring again, that is Ok, but let us know that it will be 30 mins, instead of the standard message.
An hour occasionally is fine, provided there is adequate notice, or if there is going to be a big one, a few days notice is good. I know in IT, things happen and they normally are not with precursors that allow forward planning.

Due to a problem with gift packages on server NA29, we have rolled the server back to an earlier state before the problem occurred. The rollback will be to approximately 9 p.m. server time last night. Anyone who made a purchase between then and now will have their Cents and/or packages restored in the next maintenance.

Great to hear you are able to do a rollback. The question is, why not do a rollback for all servers? People lost cities, troops, hero's and resources due to this excessive downtime.
The other thing that annoys me is that Evony couldn't even be bothered to send out a system mail with appologies. Was that really too much to ask for?
Redirecting us from forum via facebook to twitter and back didn't help us much either to provide us any information about what was (is??) going on....
It doesn't really matter if this excessive downtime is caused by botters; the question is why didn't Evony do anything about it all the time? People have been complaining about it basicly since this game exist. Enough evidence is provided about the big botters but yet Evony chose to ignore all those tickets. Now the server can't coop anymore with all data and crashes....Hmmmmmmm.....Evony should either have perm banned the botters or extend their servers capacity.
So please Evony, stop hiding yourself and be brave enough to take the blame for this.

i know on my server everyone took the login downtime just as it is and just continue playing like it didnt happen. but at the word rollback....well everyone starts fuming. we went trough a 36 hour rollback in the beginning of the server and we learned it is one of the worst things to happen because a load of progress is lost. I know more peeps who would quit playing because of a rollback then because of a little server down time.
