Do you think The Anti-Streaming Bill will pass?

Aren't there more important things for Congress to be worrying about then whether or not people are streaming video games? I'm not knocking this thread, nor am I trying to be political...just saying the US (and the world) is on the brink of financial disaster, and our elected officials are drafting up bills about video game usage on the internet. Just saying...

Intellectual property belongs to those who created it. Unauthorized use is stealing.

Instead of focusing on things like anti streaming, I would put more effort into putting attention on things such asthe protect ip act... But I think that would become too political for these forums....
I'm not entirely convinced that it will pass, looking at how protect-ip has gotten stalled I think this anti streaming bill has potential to be a fair fight

Even if it passes, companies will be able to give exemptions for their products. These products will then get more attention because of the streams, and so will have a competitive advantage over their competition, which will then encourage more companies to give exemptions and suddenly the free market has (kind of) leaped another hurdle.

A fine argument, even quite possibly what will eventually occur. But never forget that politics always has the last word, often to the detriment of the freee market.
