I'm not sure what this game is coming to... One of the 'staff' made an interesting comment in World Chat the other day of all places, in that he wanted to see Evony back as a strategy game the way it was intended when he started playing... help me with this, I'm not sure how much strategy is involved in attacking 100k archers with 100k archers, or losing a city because you're offline sleeping or in a conference meeting at work... That's not strategy, that is luck and real life.
The real strategy is finding an alliance, protecting each others cities, finding a way to be online 24/7 without really being online 24/7, creating ways to port in on your enemy and landing exactly where you plan to, and using social strategy to position yourself in a place to be successful.
If having a spy in an enemy alliance means having an 'alt' account, I can't figure out exactly why that does not make Evony a strategic game as it was intended to be... Nor how in an advanced, merged server there shouldn't be elilte powerhouse alliances attacking each other in a grand war of food, feeders, sophisticated alliance structures with true responsibilites assigned... finally evolving into a true 'strategy' game as intended by Dave Mata. The creators of Evony ought to be proud of the on-line real time virtual world society they have created, and not try and tear it down by this thirst for bot hunting...
Captcha's are rediculous... try reading them on your phone.
