You took a step forward in creating the Security Code to protect a player's account (to some degree), however; you failed miserably with THE MOST important part of our accounts - THE PASSWORD!!! The Security Code needs to be added to prevent a person's password from being randomly changed by hackers or disgruntled alliance mates. There has been so much account theft on ss58 that your Tech Dept is backlogged (probably well into next year) that those who have spent lots of money are forced to "hurry up and wait" to have anything restored.
Not to mention the fact that with all this lag (and from one IT Tech to another) due to the quantity of accounts being logged into daily not botting, players have lost heroes due to trying to dismiss crap heroes only to see their best hero disappear instead. All the dead accounts that are still around from our original servers, all the multi-accounting (which is also supposed to be against TOS rules), and the hundreds of people who log in daily per server is where your lag is from. The Evony screen alone takes up lots of my PC resources and creates cookies that use even more. A mainframe is the same. The more data that is transmitted to and from it, the more YOUR server lags, which creates the lag on our individual game servers.
IMO, Evony is not looking for a true solution to the problem, rather re-directing the attention from themselves and putting it off onto the gaming community.
