Japanpimp Battle Reports

And does it mean it is balanced game play when a player can have 562.92 attribute points and get a 0% life bonus when another only has 300 attribute points and gets a 200% life bonus? I understand that that is just how things are today. But it does not mean things don't need to change.

I have another supposition: as all know, 1 star do very few advantage in points, maybe what you try to find is not visible at 1 star, maybe at 7-8 stars.

There 2 reports where with no equipment or all gears to politic do same loses(9 stars, warhorn, i52 a167, Flat10):

These quotes explain why you waste your time with fluffy theory, as Un3x says Birtles began with hard, tried and proven facts = his formula, he worked out leadership by calculating how results differed from the formula. In other words he built upon a solid foundation of fact, your foundations are bedded in quicksand, any magic number theory is only as strong as the maths that led you to your conclusion, which in your case is no maths just 'feelings'.

Birtles' calculator is very simple compared to the fully-fleshed ones out there, but the beauty of it is that you can click on a cell and see how it's all just simple sums behind the combat, there's no magic or witchcraft, so don't be scared my friend, go and click on some little coloured cells. There's really nothing to be afraid of ;)

Lvl 10 valley, star set 9, warhorn yes, corselet not, 1 buxom, hero lvl25, att 48, intel 166.
What loses will have this report?

I'm still fleshing out my calculator and don't have buxom included or unit vs unit modifiers.

Here's what I show, I know it's wrong because I get 4 rounds not 3.

Losses: 3320 worker, 2557 warr, 3259 scout

So I will do tests to find a curve...
For example:
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 1 star.

12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 2 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 3 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 4 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 5 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 6 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 7 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 8 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 9 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 10 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 11 star.
12 gear to 15 stars, 1 gear to 12 star.

I think there will be a curve.

Un3x is trying to help find a curve. So is Oro. Everyone is helping by testing and running calcs. You, however, are not. So make yourself useful and help out. If I am wrong, great. If I am right, great. It does not matter if I am right or wrong. What matters is that we confirm things and find evidence to we can say for certain about the bonuses.

Keep it up japanpimp. Just posting your reports is a ton of help; you've probably tripled the amount of age II reports on the forums :P

I do allot of mistakes, so better to have ppl to verify.
Why i say it's possible to have something over 5 stars, i remember i tested at 0 star 1 piece , other at 9, no bonus, then until 5 tested all, but over 5 not.
I found a post where i said not tested 8 ! (almost 1 year ago)
Over a limit may happen many things, but may happen nothing too.
Because fails i keep all time that 5 level the piece failed, take few gems.

But, JP, if you not see nothing at lvl 6, 7 or 8, then i think must stop that type of tests. I have 2 reports from someone na4 with a mix 13-14 and no differences than 12 set.

About report, if 1 buxom, then use 51% instead 50% medicine.
But i don't know if noticed lvl 24 hero, then not applied 9 stars, only 5 and other consequences about leadership.
No unit vs unit modifiers needed.



EDIT: finally i post the entire report, because isn't only that the question. Take a look and explain why i have these loses :)

Thanks. Nobody wants to post reports unless they are one-sided battles. And players do not fully understand Age 2 like they do Age 1. So they are embarrassed to post war reports because they feel others will laugh at them becuse their losses are different from Age 1. And others do not post war reports because they do not want competition to study the reports and do calculations. It is selfish and childish. I am here to help. Not brag about killing 3 million archers with 100k phract on some setup battle or backdoor attack. I am here to post real world battles with as much information as I can. So I am glad it is helping people like yourself. Hopefully my reports will help more people understand Age 2 battle modifiers like Leadership, gear and stars. They make a big big difference in battles.

Ok, please give me more time for the tests. I need to buy coins to get 2 more 14 star gears.... It will cost me about 6k flawless gems... or more.
I think a mix of 13 and 14 will not produce an effect. But I think 12 gears to 15 stars and 1 gear to 7 or 8 stars or 10 stars will produce a difference.
