Do you seriously think that people that haven't signed would just poof?
Offcourse not, there's always people who are not aware of a merger or whatever.
You should be a little worried if you have accounts on more than one of the servers that are merging together. If that's not the case.. you have nothing to worry about.
You are scaring the heck outta me.
Can't we just hold hands and sing Kumbaya?

Okay, so why are we still bringing along inactive cities to the new merged servers? The map is littered with single city players with no alliance, many of which I recognize from SS28. There are even some that were inactive prior to the last merge. I do hope the Evony will do some clearance of these since it just clutters the map.
Once again, a merger I neither wanted nor expected has been imposed on me, at a time when it's hard to spend the extra time necessary to take advantage of the opportunity.:( (And I can't possibly be the only player who has less time available around holidays, rather than more.)
And though what's done is done, I have two suggestions. The first is a simple one, and entirely reasonable: If you're going to assign new names, it only seems fair to give us an ID change in the merger package. I would NEVER have chosen Jon_201.
The second is also reasonable, imho, but I suppose that's debatable: How about making mergers optional? I realize it's a lot harder for the developers to do that, but, really ... I've no doubt that there are a lot of people who would be happy to be left behind.
Interesting... the new merged servers dont have captcha :)
