Have a great public holiday for those countries that celebrate queens birthday, any day is a great day, when its a day off work and you get paid for it.
I was having a chat about this earlier today:
Me: Henry: Australia has a queen? cool
Them: I don't think we do, but apparently Queen Elizabeth is our queen
it's not even her actual birthday today
So happy faux-birthday / holiday australians and whoever.
Well they make it on this day every year, regardless of the queens actual birthday, and we dont have a queen, but were part of the commonwealth so she is our queen
Yep, happy birthday old girl! Thank you for the day off work!!
stupid queen, stupid public holidays makes everything closed and public transport $hit, my man had to pay 60 bucks to get to work today because of stupid queens birthday because he starts at 6 in the morning
Benefits to being Ameican: we don't bend a knee to anyone (unless she's a hot chick queen).
Not-so-much-a-benefit: The owrld hates you because they are stupid enough to think the U.S. government has any power in this world. lol
LET THE FLAMING BEGING!
Why doesnt he drive a car instead ??
Who uses public transport these days
we are both against the use of domestic driving were happy just catching trains and buses its no were near as poluted as a car for one person we dont pay rego every year we dont pay out of our as$ for it to be fixed everytime it buggers up and best of all i dont need to worry about the price of fuel going up
fair enough each to their own, i prefer the freedom and independance of not having to wait for busses and trains and such. Also cant smoke or drink on public transport, and the trip home from work without having a smoke would kill me.
I do all my own car repairs so i save a crapload of cash there, price of fuel..i drive a dirty guzzling V8, if fuel was an issue i wouldnt drive it, but i love the sound of it
Well there's a problem, PT (public trans) is only less polluting if a given fraction uses it as a replacement for driving themselves. So if a lot of people agree with you then you save the planet, if they don't you actually hurt the planet.
What irony.
Freaking new page...
Yea not a fan of taking public transportation. I did for a little while when my car broke down and they don't seem to care where you end up. I had one bus make a stop right behind the other one I had to transfer too, and he didn't even get on the radio to tell the guy there was a transfer.
Just don't like waitin' especially in the cold. I like the freedom to go anywhere I want.
Happy Queens day.
I guess ours would be Happy Obamas day LOL... but that's a whole different story.
true, but luckily i have seen a rise in people catching more public transport, only thing that ticks me off is people wit bikes cant go on during rush hour so when i finish work I'm apparently not allowed to catch the train home and if i do i can get a fine, how screwed up is that. i either got to risk it and hope there is no trans guards or i gotta wait around for two and a half hours till rush hour is gone, i swear no one knows how to run anything these days there all incompetent illogical morons
This may sound strange...why are you getting on a train if your riding a bike ?? Time to tone those calves and theighs and not let the winter kilo's attack us all. That reminds me i must excercise more over the winter, and walking to the fridge for anotehr bourbon doesnt equal excercise in everybies minds
i dont like pie in the shape of pizza
wow who refrigerates bourbon
because it takes an hour on train to get to work if i rode the whole way it would take me hours.
iv put bourbon on ice a few times, makes it taste nice
We have pre-mixed cans of jim beam bourbon and coke here that we can buy, and they get kept in the fridge, so tell me do you add warm coke to your bourbon.
cryptopsy, but imagine how fit you would be riding all the way to work, in every negative theres always a positive
actually yes i do prefer mine warm i drink warm soda all the time to though so im used to it
Different strokes for different folks, i love an ice cold bourbon on a hot summers day, actually i love a bourbon on a cold winters day too
all depends on the bourbon, some just isnt supposed to be mixed
My favourite is booker noes bourbon, its the top of the line jim beam sells for around $90 a bottle and its extremely smooth, i would cricify anybody i saw mixing that
Queen as in the band or as in the german monarch who has her face on british currency ? please excuse my ignorance as i know not what i do .
wasnt that the line in a brian adams song, but it was forgive me for i know not what i do, and were talking the public holiday for the royal monarchy queen of england
Oooh can we do a double celebration with the band as well? Or would that be blasphemy of royalty?
i love charles barcley bourbon, but its so hard to find its imported :(
