question about this... why wasn't my vote on death counted?

It would have been 2:2 then... and a tie.

Aisu's inverting took votes against you from 3 points to 1. Deathslayr's votes weren't counted because he suicided with Virus and thus was already dead. Lynch then automatically goes to the next highest count.

I always ended rounds in this order:

Abilities -> Lynch -> Mobkill -> Modkill

Thus Deathslayr's virus took priority over lynch. I also don't discount votes or abilities based on non-modkill deaths.

This also wasn't something I just made up on the fly, for what that's worth, but something I determined already earlier in the game, before this round began.

Also, for the record, had it ended at 2:2, the lynch would have been determined by a coin flip/RNG.

Thoughts or feedback about this are welcome, since we're between game transitions now. For the most part, I've tried to stay consistent with Revoltion's hosting style, besides our opinions on how to implement the new additions of the abstain vote ability and modkill via accumulated inactivity.

Or maybe it wouldn't have made a difference.
If Aisu hadn't voted, I wouldn't have used virus at all, not knowing who to use it on.

I know lol, I knew very well I was next, which is precisely why I used the virus on Aisukaze when he voted with you. I figured since I'd lead some of the voting, and seemed to know who to vote for, I'd be suspected to have been given some info, and with that, I'd be next on the hit list.

And no you really weren't on our interest, more of just picked you because out of all the people left to mob kill I liked you the least :)

If I'd went with who I thought would have had the most info, I would have went with Bree, she was in the "cool kids table", but I couldn't kill off my lesbotroniclover!

Acer and Jorb were the people we were most concerned about killing off because acer is always the brain behind most of civ actions (yes acer. you are.) Jorb we were pretty sure was seer. But alas, the lovely furr went out with a bang (woman seems to out do herself every game) and helped mafia out in the best way possible :p

(her actions were un-intentional though, but who knows maybe her young brain planned all of it from the beginning? ;P)

The game was going to end in a draw no matter what since neither side could be completely wiped out. Plus any victory would have been somewhat questionable anyway from the game-changing modkill.

Though I admit for all the ways the round could have ended, that was a pretty interesting one.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter why I was gonna get mob killed anyway, I was right is the main point :P

I'm in again for next game... although I know I'll never be in the "cool kid's table" as gotti put it - it's still an interesting game
