I think that it is great that women are being empowered, I just think that also means women need to be treated more equally. What I mean by this is that some of our cultural "ideas" about men and women need to change. If I punch a guy in the face, and I asked for equality, he has every right to do it back. If I try out for a position that requires physical strength and I do only slightly worse than the man I'm up against, guess what? Better luck next time.
Culturally they're right. There has been a push for women to get an education. You also have to take a look at the other side of the statistics. Women are driven to achieve more and be self sustaining, because all around us we're finding divorce rates increasing, premarital relationships becoming commonplace, and most families being driven to be 2 income just to be able to maintain a certain standard of living.
I personally think we're going to see more men being stay at home dads and to me that's okay. Most women believe being a housewife is a job - so it being a house-husband. I don't think men "playing video games" or less men graduating university being a sign of a "new society of amazons" (as an exaggerated point). I think there's just been a shift in responsibilities.

That's all well and good, Sick, but men (just like women) change their behavior around the opposite sex. Yeah, your best guy friends will tell you more about themselves and their feelings and whatever than they would other girls, maybe even fart and burp around you without caring...but they will conceal those disagreeable parts of themselves that you only see in women because men hide them from you.Quote:
