physical +1
Physical +2
Physical hurts and can last very long, sometimes for life, but emotional lasts forever.
Meh, physical pain isn't too bad. I've got a pretty high pain tolerance, which might skew my answer (I once grabbed a pot that was heated to 350 degrees and managed to put it down and dial 911 without even twitching), but I think emotional pain is worse because it can't be cured with an Advil or some burn cream.
When I broke my leg I could have cared less about what was wrong with my life...physical pain.
emotional hurts forever physical can be cured... on the other hand emotional can't kill you... oh well i picked emotional
LOL, thats so true.. when u sustain a major injury.. all else goes out the window..
when i go through a huge break up i get sad.. may not eat much if at all .. n' become super lethargic..
but effin'A mate, break a bone or tear some cartilage.. and breathing becomes a chore.
i really don't feel any type of pain, but emotional is worse.
maybe i'm a bit biased on this one because I maybe get hurt too easy but I've had my share of emotional hurt too far worse than break up and what not so I know how those go too. both will heal over time but only one can kill you or be a warning sign to something that is....physical pain gets my vote
Poll means Evony players have big hearts.
I've broke up with my ex 4 years ago and it took me 11 months to fix myself
*votes on emotional*
The scar on my face will blemish me for ever, but the scar on my heart, will blemish those around me.
I'll let you take that in as you like.
I know what both sides feel like. I'd have to say physical (+1) defenitly. my mum told a story about someone who was infected with tetinous, screams and agony basically, anyway, wonder what he would have said if you'd asked him..
Emotional pain can be easily healed. most EP is practically the result of physical pain..
Thoughts...
Pain is pain, and it is suffered both physically and emotionally, regardless of whether the wound is to the body or the soul. An athlete with a broken bone, might also suffer the pains of frustration, anger, depression, and a myriad of other emotional issues because they can't do the physical activities they enjoy. A mother mourning the loss of a child might also suffer the pains of lethargy, chest constrictions, nausea, headaches, and other physical issues caused by their emotional trauma.
Recovery, regardless of where the wound was, depends upon the depth of the wound, and the resilience of the wounded. Some wounds just can't be recovered from.
Perhaps a better question would be "Which would you rather suffer?"
i see we got a buncha mush'mushes here ...
I voted physical.
I have a fear of physical pain, and avoid it at all cost, like most people,
I can get over emotional pain. I have to find something that makes me happy is all.
I voted emotional pain, since it seems to be most likely to stick with you forever. I feel like physical pain is something that I can get over, but emotional pain is always there. I don't think you can heal from a broken heart, instead you build a thicker skin.
I'm somewhat a masochist so really I had to vote for emotional. But obviously, I'd choose being told I'm ugly over a kick in the nuts. :|
I vote emotional.
Voted emotional.
I'm that weird person that enjoys certain amounts of pain >.<
I say emotional. Psyhical pain can be very bad, but for the most part once you're healed you're healed. Emotional pan may never truly heal, especially the loss of a loved one.
well, if you can heal a bullet wound to the head with CPR, i think computers can fix broken hearts.
Communism is both. Physical and emotional.
Both you can guard against, both can never heal right, both can cripple and change your life forever, but only one can make you lose relationships. I voted for emotional.
