Before anyone says please stop complaining about the multi-tapping glitch been fixed, shh!
This thread is about evony and how it is to completely sort its self out.
I still enjoy the game but certain aspects of evony that people come to rely on, then they are taken away.
Instead of allowing people to do certain things like Capture Queens, Multi-tap....stuff that alot of people enjoyed and came to rely on.
I have been playing evony Since February 2011 and multi-tapping was available and capturing queens and what ever else you lot have 'fixed'.
The fact is that these things should not be here in the first place....or they should not be available for a long period of time....People come to rely on them and have no idea that they are actually glitches or are not part of the game...it is not stated anywhere...
The fact is when a glitch is discovered or a so-called glitch...it should not have taken close to or over one year to fix this 'problem'.... It just goes to show how much in-game involvement evony actually has and they only look at how much money they have rolling in....well some people will quit after multi-tapping has gone now...people quit after Queens and Kings were taken of them.
Lets says for example if I have minus 40million upkeep per hour. (AFTER Hungry No More 50% upkeep)
One level 10 NPC will give me 19million food. To clear a level 10 NPC you need atleast a 300 attack, a 70-80 leveled hero (minimum for succession) to clear with losses from anything between 2 thousand to 10k archers per hit. Depending on gear and hero.
To survive per day I would need 880million food
To maintain this food bill I would have to hit 49 level 10 NPC's per day.
My loss on a level 10 is 2-4k archers. So if i hit 49 10's a day i will loose 147k archers per day just for food. that snot including excess.
If you use the alternative and hit 5's...you would need to hit 293 level 5 NPC's per day.
Most people will be willing to travel 20-30miles max for a level 5 NPC which refills around every 8 hours. That will take around 90 minutes with level 10 mount on...and then 5% less for -1 level of mount going down. So all in all that would take 3 hours to hit ONE level 5 or even 10 NPC which it will when people have done farming the ones within the first 10 miles..then the next 20miles.
So, most developed players have level 10 feasting halls in all their cities so they can send 9-10 (need a defending hero just incase you become under attack) waves out at a time (excluding free space for Royal) which can take anything from 10 minutes there/return up to 3 hours......for all waves to return with food.
Then after this you have to wait for them to refill and then hit more NPC's until there are no more in reasonable area.
Evony hasn't considered the average amount of people within one space of an area to collect food with.
Please answer me this...how many Default NPC's are there in the server at the beginning? Because there are definitely no where enough to single hit farm them to cope with the amount of people in the area for all of them to maintains even half decent food bill.
There are almost 25k users on my current server and there is around 40,000 spaces per state,
Majority of these of non-flat resrouce valleys and the rest flats and NPC's
I just don't under why evony keep making all these corrections and changes that shouldn't not be there in the first place but when you lay it all out on the table we need the things we are 'not supposed have'
Sort it out evony...don't allow us to do certain things then take them away.
I would love to see demographics of users joining and inactivity rates of accounts and see which line is raising higher on a graph!
Instead of getting rid of the changes. try make some improvements.
If you tell me right here and now how Im supposed to cope with the hypothetically food bill of 40million above a day please let me know.
Not everyone has all day to play this game
Not everyone has $3000 to spend on this game and 3 months of vestas and no upkeep.
Take into consideration the players who spend $30-$100 a month and play for around 3 hours a day, or less or even more.
If your main goal for this game is to get all the people who have all day to play...the unemployed, the elderly, or people who may have an illness ((basically everyone who doesn't work)) then that's your choice,
But people like myself do not want to spend every waking day scouting a level 5 or 10 NPC in hopes that it may be full of food and I might get to it in time!
