No, Masking is considered the same as actually using the words. We are all supposed to edit it out.

All you did was take a sentence that had absolutely no bad words and no making and made it look like you had to edit out filthy language.
This make me look bad for no reason.
What if a future employer does a search and sees this thread? He will say: "Oh he has been using HORRIBLE language on the forums, and it needed to be edited!".
But I did not use any horrible language, and I did not mask.
All I did is use _________ and that means for the reader to insert anything they like here.

OR
Frickin'
Or even "potato"..
They are not bad words. What you really did is think of bad words (yourself). You are masking your own thought process. Why don't you put it back the way I had it so that people who don't have such a degenerate mind like you can read the thread innocently?
There is no need for editing. You did it for no good reason and made it look worse.
Sadly I agree with Blegemoth, I don't have a problem with people who put a space or [insert chosen word here].
I consider masking to be %!#$ and other such nonsense...

Because all she did is combine a double post. I looked at it, and thought: Oh, ok then.. and said nothing.
But to edit out ______ with ModEdit.. that makes me look like I swore. That makes me look bad when I did nothing wrong. That means I have a right and a DUTY as a human being that has two testicles to say: "Um, no, I don't agree with that"..
..people SHOULD be like that in life. Many times now on this forum, people have said be this way or be that way with the mods, or you will be killed or murdered or slaughtered, etc etc..
Well first of all, threats don't work with people who have two testicles. It makes them stand up taller and say: "huh? and the reason for theats is? and what point does it accomplish?"..
SO, in conclusion, I have not treated anyone on this forum badly. I have never insulted anyone. When I did not agree with a decision, I just said so - or made a joke from it. I really don't think I should "try not to argue with the mods or DEATH may occur to [my] account"..
..if DEATH occurs to my account for such childish reasons as me not agreeing, or not saying "yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir", I will 1). Stop paying for these game coins and 2). I will have good reason to give those responsible a GOOD reason to cry about me, off these forums and on a forum where people can't kick me all over the board like a rat.
