I am curious about polls and the best way to learn is by doin. Close if you must mods.

The system here is weird, you have to post your thread, and THEN actually create the poll afterwards. How odd.

I did in fact get the information I was curious about however :)

Feel free to vote away as well, I think the poll is one of import for us all

That's a vBulletin quirk. I agree that it would be better if it held the post till your poll was completed. I do like the multiple choice and public poll options.

The way to add a poll is to select the "Yes, I want a poll" checkbox at the bottom of the page when you first create the thread. Apparently pialpha realized you can use the thread tools dropdown to create a poll also.

In addition to that once it has been made you cannot edit it. Bleh!

Well maybe mods have the power to do such things, but as a user that's the way it is.

Yes I wanted to go back and edit my poll to make it multiple choice, when I realized that would be superior, but I am unable to do so apparently. A shame. Hmm I thought I also checked the option to make results public but that doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Supermods usually have the ability to edit polls. (Including results!)
