Fixing

Starting at the beginning of next round (9pm EST on Tuesday), rounds shall be shortened from a full 2-days (48 hours) to 1 and a half days (36 hours).

That is bad for US players. That is the morning of thanksgiving. Can you do it the round after?

It's not like there won't be a full 36 hours to vote beforehand, and a full 36 afterwards.

However, if everyone else agrees with you, I can delay till Friday.

I wouldn't mind a 36 hour system. It shouldn't be a problem if it's just for 2 rounds.

I know that this will likely backfire, seeing as normally when people protest their innocence, people just think they're lying, but here goes:

Don't kill me...If you look at all the games I've played in, I was one of the organisers behind the Civ alliance at the time, for every game where I lasted any length of time. So, killing me is a bad idea, no?

Consider, if I am mafia (I'm not) then I won't be able to organise an alliance seeing as that requires trust in my primary role, which I cannot provide if I am mafia. Therefore I can't set up Civs to fight Civs, because noone would trust me without knowing my role, and if they did know my role, they wouldn't trust me.

Then consider, if I am civilian (I am), you've killed a valuable asset to your side. In speculation, the mafia might know this and might be trying to organise your votes against me so they can use their kill on another organising player, like Alusair (don't kill her either). Btw, I'm not overestimating my worth. I don't think that I'm smarter or better than any of you, but going on past game's evidence, I could be an asset to the Civs.

I know nothing about how to be a civ so I'm just following blindly.

I don't like the idea to shorten the rounds. Between how my schedule would clash with a 36 hour system and the hour(s) the rounds start/end, I think it'll lead to me either having to vote prematurely or miss voting because I won't be online in time.

Looking at it Hehe has givin me a decent reason to believe he's civ, and Gr8 last round was very sneaky and kept a low profile (yes i shouldnt bring up past games) but turned out to be a mafia. This round he's being voted for, and im looking at his defense and it seems he's in a pickle because we caught him 1st round. Maybe im wrong and their both civ.. or mafia?

I dont think Bole is mafia, because he firmly denied it and i looked at that post and couldnt possibly find any hidin meaning.

No, the 36 hour system will be for the entire game to keep it quick but fair at the same time, so it starts when the current round ends, HOWEVER it can be delayed depending on the outcome of this current Thanksgiving debacle.

i am in canada. i do not care about american thanksgiving.
