I am Sick of These Alliance Wars

You know, when I log into Evony, I expect to find my city untouched, a couple reports in the file, and a couple quests completed. But what do I find instead? I find mail, not 1 or 2, but 8. And what is each and every one of those mails, a letter from my alliance or a friend? No. It's a letter declaring war.

The wars we declare are against random alliances, most of which I have never heard of. All of these alliances have decided to "team up" and "work together." Whenever one declares a war, every single freaking one of the other alliances in this little "club" declares war to, even if they have nothing to do with it!

I'm getting seriously angry with all this Mod Edit that's going around because of it. "Oh, if you don't declare war, you're not supporting the contract with us!!" What freaking contract?!

From now on, if one alliance declares war, that doesn't mean EVERY OTHER ALLIANCE IN THE GAME has to declare war to. If you have a problem with an alliance, declare war, and if you need help, ask a friendly alliance or negotiate peace. Just stop with all this Mod Edit, this isn't WWI.

Not that I agree with it but it is a strategy. You gotta make a point to the friendly alliance deal right? That said I do agree with you and find it fairly pointless.

do I have to remind you that in WWII the US even though they were allied to the UK didn't do anything until Japan attacked them they were going to stay out of the war entirely.

You do not have to get involved in a war just because your friends with somebody who's being attacked.
