Hey everyone.
I was playing around the other day with zero CD/Zero defense and i noticed a few things..
basically i tested at least 20 different ways to approach it and a lot of it worked well but nothing worked really well....
I found that when someone goes too just pure AT's that naked/non-layered balista just goes for AT's until they are dead.
Then after that they go after archers mainly but don't kill a high amount compared to what is expected. E.g. 100k balista was killing 80k-120k archers and standard arch waves was killing 30k-40k archers.
As i was testing about with an inactive so I sent some stupid stuff just to see what would happen.
I tried 100k cav waves which just killed 300k warriors.
Non arch waves which work great against zero defense e.g. 50k warriors 20k pike 20k sword 10k scout worked great at picking of the layers.
Layered arch waves e.g. 1k warriors, sword, pike, worker, cav phract, scout rest archers killed very little layers and maybe 20-30k arch.
Even tried 1k cav rest archers which is used for a non pike sword and phract defense which just went the for the archers and again killed around 20-30k.
For information the guy had 3million warriors 50k workers, 600k Pike and sword. 60k phracts and 70k Cav. 1.5million archers 5k ram, pult and 95k balista. Defending hero was a level 150 HH with 220 leadership, 450 attack and 60intel.
I have 12 star set, all level 10 gear and used all level 100's for these attacks and HH's for Balista waves.
Seen as I tried a lot of approaches and zero defense is becoming a lot more popular I just want to know what could I have done better? Is there a 'good approach' towards zero defense besides picking of the layers? I would have tried rams or pults but was low at the time.
Any feed back would be appreciated.
