By hand, unlike some players nowadays, i have flipped a city with an 800 hero in 2 tops 3 days. That's a ten into a fully active iron city with 5 barracks.

that guy may have a bot that is helping him...
:flame:Yes, the one with more ralies and troops would win except for the fact that players in t cities often choose to close gates and comfort 24/7 once they are wiped or nearly wped of troops. Many even before that. The most fustrating is where a city sits wth only a handful of troops and little to no wall defences. While a single swipe is all you really need to clear them, you soon find that their city is instantly speechtexted at around loyalty of 6-10....no problem...send those ponies in a few more times and your good...right??? NO another speech text, and again, and again, and again, and again...to the point that there is no real defense necessary on their part...gates never open and those handfull of troops never even make it to battle. It doesn't matter if you set up hits 24/7 the city is ALWAYS magically texted.
This is especially frustrating when trying to take an HC from an enemy that has no troops in their city. Given the "value" of Historic Cities in age 2, this should be unacceptable. How should you expect to be able to keep an HC without EVER having to defend it?
Kinda takes the "war" out of the wargame :( All your players are asking for is the actual ability to fight!!! :flame:
Hello all,
There is currently an open feedback topic also discussing this subject and it would be great to hear other peoples ideas and input on how we could help make the game better for everyone that plays regarding the endless loyalty loop problem.
The topic can be found at the following address;

happened many months ago im afraidQuote:
Undoubtedly, this will change someday, as A2 becomes more and more popular and the A1 bot developers port their application to A2.
wow ignorance must be bliss, unfortunately on my server bot defending is an unignorable problemQuote:
If there was a "bot" problem, it would exist on older colonize-only servers w/ HC holders using bots to defend their cities.
Doesn't exist.
cynical nonsense, bot defenders are obvious, if youve ever defended agaist an attacker yourself youll be able to recognise 1 a mile off.Quote:
The "default" whine for anyone who loses a battle is there was a "bot" on the other side defending. Virtually all of these complaints are merely Chicken Little squawking. It is far more likely that there is multiaccounting going on, or you're attacking someone like me, who is in front of the computer for 10-18 hours/day working.
i invite you tentpig to na32, after youve built a few troops and done some attacking(if youre capable of these things) youll quickly see how common bot defending has become.
While I agree with you here with fully active iron city, most of us prize those City with all level 10 resourcefield, which are worth capping, anything else is something anyone of us can replace. What we valued there is the M script and that is definitely worth capping, if it has a good hero even more.
My experience with a 600 pol Hero, still took me 1 month to change the city to a complete Iron City.I blame that on my bad short term memory problem, I keep forgetting to click the next upgrade because I am usually too busy farming 5s and in between I farm 10s.
To me, any other cities beside as described above, is only worth plundering and if it permit capping, but any sign of serious resistant I just move on.
I over come the pop problem with iron city, and utilized the wood city to compensate.
Late game you rarely need more than 6 barracks with the exception of pult city or unless you have all instant troop hero than you can change over to 1 barrack and all cottages plus the essentials.
With the proper settings I have been able to store billions in resources, thats billions in irons and billions in woods without ever using any feeders.
Some cities I use 2/3 wood and 1/3 iron to keep a balance on idle pop and labor ensuring I have enough to train with. This method I use for distant satelite city that sending my main hero would be a waste.
Why Iron?
well, with a pure iron and pure wood city I can store excess iron on my wood city and vice versa, this way while storing excess resources I am not stopping any production, this means all production is pushing @ 100% without capping.
If I were to use partial wood and iron I cant store any extra resources without maxing out on either wood or iron, unless i have a pure wood or iron city within 30-50 miles.
