That which has already sailed.
The best type of boats are the ones with sound hulls and don't sink. If you can find those, you'll be able to discern which ones you're looking for.
Also, I'm not exactly sure who informed you, but I highly doubt the forums ARE sailors. I've been here for a while and I have yet to see the forums themselves set sail and float away.
I could be wrong though since I'm not here 24/7. Perhaps during the times when I'm not here the forums actually do go on swashbuckling adventures on the high seas. If that is so, then I wish I had stuck to my pirate background so I might be able to fit in a bit better and pehaps join in.
Arr i'll sell ye a boat.. But it'll cost ye an arm and a leg, i'll even throw in a hook and a peg ya scallywags arrrrr!! :pirate:
Best answer: To avoid any icebergs or any dangers in a bout...

In the end, it was a tough choice but I think this one...

will do me fine.
It depends what sort of a body of water you intend to use said boat on. If you are to brave a big, wide ocean, a large and sturdy vessel is needed.
Security is found in small things, though, when you're in the general safety of a river.
Hint:
It floats.
The ones that sink aint no good, like rocks. Rocks dont float too well.
And you must have a cool dixie cup hat =)

hmmm indeed i can see the need for this to be answered. alow me to bring out my inner poet with a haiku.
life is just a boat
and perhaps we are all sailors
refrigerator
The Ocean is a dynamic world that sailors are expected to explore on their own. The issue you mentioned is not a bug, technical problem or malfunction, and is therefore not something that can be corrected. If you need further explanation of any sailing mechanics or other help, you can ask your fellow sailors, or visit our sailor forums.
Everybody uses refrigerator at the end of their haikus
Why not, hippopotamus or lasciviously or undeniable or abbreviation or perceptivity or or or...
WHY ONLY REFRIGERATOR!!?!?!?
Concerning a boat I think mediterranean would be more appropriate, or even cannibalism.
Self-preservation even works.
[Disclaimer: Yes I did google five syllable words. So what, haven't you ever written anything?]
Here I was defending the moderators, and all you can come up with is things that make no sense at all. Mother:modedit:
The Titanic is like ATLANTIS
Hard to take down but easy float - Gfdyg Na40 Na42-Freebirds recruiting message me today :D
I don't know a lot about boats, but a friend of mine mentioned that the Titanic would be setting sail soon. Rumor has Leonardo DiCaprio will be among the passengers.
Then again, I believe I saw some guy on the Discovery Channel cross the Atlantic in a little yellow floatie-raft.
Two options, ( opposite extremes nonetheless ), but they both beat swimming, errr... drowning.

If a cow can swim you should be able to as well
Or make sure that this guy isn't piloting it

Some guy was bugging me about my images being too small ... I just get them off google :modedit: resizing them

It's obvious that Fisher-price rules the play boat market

Well ladies and spambot... It seems everyone says the best boat is one that doesn't sink! In my opinion the best boat is the one that does sink... for you see if it sinks and it's big enough (very important as you don't wish to drown (if you do you might want to see a quack)) then you sink it so you don't get seasick as many including my self have a horrible tendency to.
Ships such as this one.
http://travelwithwestonanddana.files...pg?w=500&h=333
or this one which is a bit bigger...

Or hell this one is the best so I know of!
