Start charging for comforts Mwwhahahahahaha :devil::rofl:
There were no publically available Age 2 bots, other than one which allows you to farm -- it didn't do comforting or troop training or all the other wild claims people made up like get you 1000 game coins every time you spin the wheel. Yes, there was a full featured version, but that was only for age 1. Apparently that changed, and now they make the age 2 version available for $25/mo to subscribers only.
I still contend age 2 does not have a huge bot problem, compared to age 1, at $25/mo for the age 2 version compared to $0/mo for the age 1 version, I think basic laws of supply and demand apply.
At the very minimum age 2 players are now dealing with the same issues age 1 players have been dealing with for 2+ years now.
lmao and hes back, these bots have been around since i started playing a year ago, free versions were hacked from the 1s you see being offered at a price

Affirmative...
To many noobs who rely on comforting to keep cities posting here and on that other thread.
If you cant defend a city with troops then you shouldn't have the city, keep the same 6 minute per 1 loyalty drop so people have time to reinforce themselves or get rein's from alliance members.
Best idea I read so far was increasing the cooldown of comfort everytime it's used that day.
So 15 mins/30mins/1 hour/2 hours/4 hours.. etc till maint when it resets.
I don't see a reason a player should be allowed to comfort only to save a city. Yes time and sometimes money is spent to build cities, but the same can be said about troops, heroes, etc. If you cannot defend, or maintain these items you should have the risk to losing them. If you are a legitimate player (not saying that you aren't), and you have your army cleared, you would seriously stay online and comfort for hours to keep the city? What about the attackers perspective? They spent troops, heroes, and time to attack and break your city, why shouldn't they have the possibility to take it from you?
The argument continues to be brought back to bullying smaller players. The ability to never lose troops or a city defending is a legitimate way for a smaller players to deter being attacked? Its for the current comfort mechanics that major HCs don't trade hands so often on Age II. It is too easy to defend a city like this; close gates, walk away, come back and comfort every hour or so, while an attacker sends wave after wave of attacks that do absolutely nothing due to closed gates.
The margin of difference that smaller and larger players have is much smaller than many try to make it out to be. Yes at the beginning of the server, the difference can be large, but as the server progresses, non-coining players have caught up and in some cases become larger than even the major coining players (this might be harder without the multiple amulet spins a day now). Medals can be acquired, hero's leveled up, and troops trained. On Age II, materials used to be won easily off the wheel, and (though extremely rarely), can be won from valleys.
Smaller players are not useless and as helpless as they are made out to be. It should be harder for a defender to retain what they worked for, because an attacker will also work hard to take that from them.
if the thread continues in this direction it'll just get closed/deleted
the subject was does comforting need to be fixed
and my opinion remains that the problem is not comforting
comforting is an integral part of the game
to change it would be a huge mistake
not that my opinion matters
in the feedback pages anyone who disagrees is ignored and only those that come up with some ridiculous plan to make real players worse off get a response
i found it very difficult to even follow the conversation because of the number of deleted entries

someone, anyone, please tell me why comforting needs to change without mentioning players that don't follow the TOS
If they change it everyone alts are in danger D: us noobies can finally streak back at those major coiners!!!!
PS I mean still all there alts cities muahahhahahahahahahhaha
:\ next please
@Huntahh and Blah99200
why is this a bad thing?
is it bad because you want to take the HC and you can't do it easily?
well, pretty sure that taking a city should be hard, especially a HC (since ports and truces don't work on them) but i suppose you're only looking at it from the failed attackers point of view
the game is made to give a defender an advantage
as it should be, the holder of a castle, with walls, gates, fortifications and as many troops as you can hold inside should have the advantage over waves of 100k(ish) troops that are attacking...
or have i missed something?
