If you are a legitimate player (not saying that you aren't), and you have your army cleared, you would seriously stay online and comfort for hours to keep the city? What about the attackers perspective? They spent troops, heroes, and time to attack and break your city, why shouldn't they have the possibility to take it from you?
The argument continues to be brought back to bullying smaller players. The ability to never lose troops or a city defending is a legitimate way for a smaller players to deter being attacked? Its for the current comfort mechanics that major HCs don't trade hands so often on Age II. It is too easy to defend a city like this; close gates, walk away, come back and comfort every hour or so, while an attacker sends wave after wave of attacks that do absolutely nothing due to closed gates.
