I don't see the upside, sorry. Once again, all this change says to me is Evony is willing to accept a certain level of botting (at which some threshhold they consider 'abuse' and will take action), although they are unwilling to publically admit to it (because doing so would invite wholesale botting by all players), because rather than addressing the underlying problem (botting) by banning all the players that bot, they are instead making changes to the software to lessen the abilities of certain 'features' in bots (comforting).
