100k archer first wave + plus rainbow, 20k archers + rainbow loses
20k warrior, 20k archer plus rainbow for the rest of the attacks.
59 attacks total til capture.
Server 11 reports don't seem to work, but here's the basic idea:
NPC was 1.0 miles, 6:12 round trip, sent 9 rapid waves at a time.
Wave 1: 89,993 Archers(no ensign to use), 1 of each fluff, lost 35,011 Archers
Wave 2: 40k Archers, 10K Swords, 1 of each fluff, lost 1k swords, 3.5k archers
Wave 3-9: 10k archers, 10k warriors with layers.
After they all got back I sent 40k archers, 20k warriors first wave, then the 10k/10k for 2-9 and just repeated this cycle til it was done.
In the end had a net loss of 56k Archers, 40k Warriors, 5k swords, and all the layers. 46 total attacks to conquer. 5 Justice, 4 Nation Medals, and a speaker.
All combat techs 10 except Med only 9(still researching). Wave 1 hero started at 136 attack, 2 others over 100, rest are 80-90 range.
Could this be a good way to remove lot of single use defenses before the first wave of archers+ballistas attack?

Just want to say your a ****ing idiot for posting this thread.. and not keeping it to yourself.. Hate people who are so proud and they feel like their the first person to do this, they gotta post it in a thread so that the developers read it, and make it 10000 times harder to do... way to go idiot
This is a guide forum, the whole point of it is to post things that will help other people. Im sure the devs already know most of what is being posted here, as they programmed it in the first place. If they feel it needs to be changed then im sure they will do it regardless of how many posts are made about it.Quote:

83 minutes and 48 attacks from first attack to capture. Not bad for first timer. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this guide.
Put me on list also. i got a city, was 2 squares diangle from me. took me 1h 30m cuz of couple screw ups, 90k archers dead about.

Was my first big attack, used 8k warriors in 1k rounds to take some defences away.
Captured a lv10 NPC city, cost me 109k archers and 85k warriors.
A total of 123million resources worth of troops. Probably not worth it unless you have alot of spare troops.

You can get every tech to level 10 except for stockpile, a level 10 barracks tons of lvl10 cottages, and you get a city that will produce 1.2 mil food depending on which level of lakes you get.

All levels is lvl 10 except horsebackriding which is lvl 9. No extra stuff/items used at all to boost.
Heros attack level is 208
Just took one down for the first time, alot easier than I thought it would be.
Had all lvl10 researches except HB riding which I am researching now.
I hit it 36 times and I think an alliance member hit it 4 times during the fight.
Lasted 32 minutes and am still calculating losses.
Used 8 heroes, gained 41 lvls and 9 medals I think, no bonus items.
Used corslet horn and a penicillin I had laying around.
Did my first NPC10... took 17 mins for 32 attacks (one link is missing but its one in the middle). Notice i didnt include any rainbowers slower than archers in the 125k wave, so they would get back sooner and thrown back in again(in smaller groups). I had one wave going out every 30 seconds or so all from the same city 1mile away. Level 10 Rally, level 9 Feasting Hall. Also ensign, penecilin, war horn, corselet.

10 archery 10 MT 9 medicine 9 IW 8 compass and 7 HBR. attack hero is 162. I had 10% attack/defense item bonus. Not bad need more transporters tho

that blows I lost 31k archers this time. pretty harsh but ill survive. I sent less archers and more warriors ill make sure to never do that again.
hello, i am planning on conquering a lvl 10 npc and i was wondering what you guys thot of my first initial wave
all my techs are lvl 10 execpt for horseback riding(lvl 9) hero has 150 attack as of now.

Yes level 10 NPCs can be taken without using a war ensign. You will lose significantly more archers from the first wave. (With a first wave of 100K - expect to lose 20-40k archers.)
so our 1st wavw send 100k soliders,wat bout 2nd wave, 30k archers for the rest of the wave?

I was able to assist with a take down, and then, with same assistance (Host and I were same distance from our lv 10's) took my own yesterday that is.....
So, did use corslet, war horn, war ensign, and penicillin. Also scouted first to get a lv 8 hero in the NPC. Then just sent like mad :D:D Was only 1 mile away.
Had about 200k archers, 180k warr, and used one of each of the others. My hero who did the first attack had 119 attack.
I gained 5 Justice and a few Nations off both cities all together
Which gave me title of Duke :cool:

Oh I only used archers for the first hit, no balista, and was thrilled to only lose 15.6k archers :D:D:cool:
Here I bring another exp. with conquering NPC lvl.10.
I had almost all important researches at maximum (MT10, IW10, ARCH10, HBR9). I have used corselet, ivory horn, war ensign and penicillin, but I think that penicillin is not so useful, cause I had in all battles wounded proportion 13%. War ensign I used only for initial strike. NPC was 1.4 miles away from my attacking city. During battle I have made some experiments to send cavalries or only warriors. You can see in battle reports how I was successful.
For attack I have used approx. 160k archers, 60k warriors, 5k ballistas and 10k cavalries for experimenting. Other troops served me as layer.
I have gained 6 justice and 2 nation medals and I became duke.
Waves came in interval of seconds till 1min. The last wave came approx. 50 minutes after the initial strike.

Using 250,000 Warriors, 235,000 Archers, 21,800 Ballistas, 8999 Pikemen, and 8999 Swordsmen,
That helps out like so much, after looking at it all that is.

I am looking at having 3 citys within 2 miles of my targeted lvl 10 NPC. About how many attacks is it going to take to get them down. Does it vary or is there a set number?
