wait... how the heck do you send 38 attacks in 1 minute? thats a lot of fast clicking...
I clarified in the guide about how to use CAMP time to accomplish the timings.
Thanks for the great info, I'll put this to use as soon as I dont have to worry about incomming attacks. By the way, what were your losses?

Guess I'm not the only one to have done this.
I did it without using the camping method though.
I just sent from my farthest city out, and then so on. I checked to see when the last attack from the previous city would hit and wait til then to start sending out my next set of waves.
I got a city that was over forty miles away from my closest city. I'm going to try and see if I can do it even farther away.
And I thought I was bad figuring out the timing issue from my cities, you went ahead and figured out when the city refreshes. You got me beat on the nerd scale. Bravo.
Also you can send a lot less guys with the subsequent waves, your 26 waves could be done with just 5k warriors and 1k archers. I did send more waves though, I sent 58 and 10 got there after the barb was captured, so that means I did have a few attacks fail. Overall I used less troops though, so it can be done with 300k warriors and 150-200k archers.

After the 4th attack, You only need to send 10k warriors.
I like to send 45 Attacks, But mainly because my sequential attacks will only usually lower the loyalty by -2, -3 is easily achievable but.. With server errors and resets, The server clock resets. Soo its A Pray/Slit kind of thing when you hit the 6minute refresh.
First hit 10k ballista, 84k archer, 2k pike, 4k swords seems to give me the least loss. (the pike dies some swords remain and about 8000-16000 archer die) I have had 16k catapult and tested many varietys including 16k catapult 50k ballista and rest swordsmen..
The catapult just slows you down costs you more food in the end then it would in Death costs accountable for having not sent the catapult in the first place.
I would love to see what just archer does to an npc first hit.. For archer loss that is.. How high attack are u talking?
One more thing, The best thing to clear the 6minute respawn absolutely, For least troop loss(not materials but actual deaths) 60 k warrior 40 k archer. You will only lose about 1600 warr and 700 archer.
Yeah i've done subsequent attacks successfully with 5k warriors, but it only takes loyalty down by 1, so you do less attacks.. So i settled with 10k war, 5k archers. I think it can definitely be optimized further.
My losses on 92k archers, 8k workers (gives me a 100mile range), was 40k archers lost. hefty price to pay but worth it for the war we were fighting. Hero ATK = 192.
Losses range, depending on what you send, and how you send it. But it's a lot less than the conventional method. Since you beat the refresh, and subsequent waves, you lose less archers to rock fall if you just send in warriors (cheaper)

According to the first post;
#1 Ballista lvl7 archery has a range of 1890
#2 Archers Tower lvl4 archery has a range of 1560
ATs require lvl3 walls to begin so Lvl5 walls should not add 330+ to the range. Even assuming a 10% base raise for each lvl the total should be only 1820 (1300 X .2) + 1560. which would allow the ballistas to strike while still out of the range of the ATs.
Hmmmmm used 1 script now i have to wait and ""HOPE"" that i hit one through the random wheel that keeps giving me useless things that i dont need?? so as i progress i may end up with 3-4 castles that are all lvl9?? pffft.......
it seems you can only successfully attack lvl 10 NPCs from a lvl 10 rally spot - I've done it twice from a lvl 9 rally spot, and am down to my last war ensign. I need some scripts to upgrade my rally spot and tech. If I dont get one soon, I may quit. This game will get really boring if I can't continue to attack lvl 10 NPCs, as they have the only things I need to continue - scripts and Justice medals. Maybe the designers did this on purpose to force you to give them cash. No cash - no progression past Marquis.
Just a note... Using the "camp" method, however long it takes to get to the city, it will take that long to get back.
I attempted to modify this method by sending 16 waves camped within 1 second of each other, then thought they would just take 2-3m to get back and i could continue sending the waves manually after that. I was wrong... I took the city eventually but it took probably 4x the losses I should have.
I'm twice the idiot for doing it near maintenance time... I took the city with 2 min. to spare!
I do understand the frustration of not being able to progress pass lvl.9 buildings and taking on lvl 10 npc is costing far too much. However, to my surprise, I started winning rare items in the past two days which offer a glimpse of hope on getting free Michaelangelo's from a level 4 npc. But please do note that I attack close to 35-50 level 4-5 npcs daily.

No, If your gates are open... its a Troops v. Troops fight... this should only be an option when you start a new city... (no ablity to build wall defenses yet) Tribute food to your new city and reinforce it with troops until you can build defenses.
Not having used the camp function - I presume from your description that the troops will wait that amount of time at the destination before attacking?

people...in the sticky thread made by Gazza.....there is a link to a thread....named "Ambiguous Scout Reports".....its there for a reason...use it.
Yes for example, when your being attacked by a person with better informatics then you, itll show all of the previous stats, swarm, horde etc etc, then itll have a few in battering ram and catapults. but when he attacks, theyre will be none, so usually if its few, its 0.
I think keeping cities close together is better so that you can quickly send troops and resources... unless you have alliance members who will help cover you while you build up.
I'm trying to conquer a city and ive got its loyalty down to 15. Ive took out all archer towers but there is still 250 abatis. Do i have to take them out to conquer it? and how many cavalry should i use? I currently have 250 cavalry, if i sent these with other troops would i be ok?
Oh and forgot to ask, how do i get the loyalty down to 0, its stopped at 15.
