identical moms

just randomly thinking would it be strange for a really Young kid who had a mom who was a identical twin and his auntie came over a lot, i dunno but that would freak me out haha

lol, my mums an identical twin but thankfully my aunt lives in a different part of the country, I think you're right, it would be weird. :D

as random as it sounds its common though think of all the identical twins you know or have seen

It is very true, I still find it hard to understand how you can tell identical twins apart if you know them, even though I can obviously tell my mum and my aunt apart, other people can't, its baffling.

I think kids probably simply accept it without question, just as they do if they have siblings who are twins. I am sure they can always tell which is their mother, and they probably think nothing of it.

I know a family that is like that and the mother and the aunt are close. I had never really thought about it too much, but now I want to find out if the child confused the two. lol

My wife's cousins are identical female twins. Their husbands look alot alike and their houses are back to back. I've known the twins for 27 years and still can't tell them apart.

You know what would be wierder? Identical twins getting married to identical twins haveing identical twin children.

i know when i was really lil i used to get confused about been a normal twin (i got a twin bro) because at that age i assumed twins were identical twins so i was freaking thinking "i dont look like my brother, i dont wanna look like him" hahaha

But yea that would be pretty bizzare. I never thought of that! What if your mom and aunt played a mean trick on your and switched places.

I'm a twin. An identical twin. Trust me, they're kids would be able to tell them apart easily after just a short time.
People have asked if my brother and I have ever switched girlfriends, or wives. Obviously no, by the time a girl is our girlfriend she knows our personalities well enough to tell us apart immediately. Our friends can tell our voices apart over the phone.
Even though we look and sound alike and yes, have very similar personalities, we're still different enough for friends and family to tell us apart without any problem.
So no, my brother and I have never tried to play a trick on our wives by switching. It wouldn't work. Our wives have an IQ well above 5, and even then I doubt it would work.
