Nikk snapped out of her daze and looked slowly around the silent room at everyone's grim faces. "As much as I hate to relive what i've just heard, we need to go over those tapes" She looked over at Cale "Can you put them on the big screen for us, we need to figure out what the heck is going on"
-
Cale walked over and hooked up the thermal camera to the projector. "Unfortunately i only got the murder on thermal. But i do have a camera actively recording everything since, including the portal thing." The screen turned to shades of red blue green and yellow. Each forming bodies and playing out the murder again.
-
Nikk nodded her thanks to Cale. "So we have powers and our parents have been keeping them from us? The girl came back from the future in that portal to tell us?" Nikk grimaced, this was all a little to farfetched for her liking. There must be a reason she came back to tell us... she thought to herself. "Okay, so we all head home, act like nothings wrong, try and find out what your powers are and text us when you've figured it out and we'll figure out a plan, agreed?"
-
"Dam... that was horrible. we need to get home before our parents figure out where the hell we are. be alert they might kill us too."
-
"Alright. The regular camera is set up to wirelessly transmit the recorded video to my laptop at home. so ill have everything since the murder on tape." Cale said as he unhooked the thermal.
-
"I mean...I'm stunned," Jessica said, standing up. "But we gotta eat."
The cupboard full of bread and peanut butter was behind the TV. Jessica walked over to the TV and the cupboard when...."Yow!"
Jessica fell over a cord, knocking off the camera and breaking it. "Uh..."
-
Nikk frowned, closing her eyes and rubbing her temples.
"I have a splitting headache, I think I'll just go, the sooner I can figure this all out the sooner I can clear my head"
-
"Thank god i already unhooked the thermal. Plus all the stuff has been backed up on my laptop already." Cale said. "Or that could have been a real disaster."
-
((....))
"Yeah," Jessica said as the parents started to walk down the stairs.
"Time to go," they all said in unison. Jessica waved goodbye as the parents brutally pulled their children out.

Cale punched his dad in the stomach so he'd let go. "Dont touch me" He said and ran to the car. He hopped in the backseat and waited for his dad to come and drive. His dad got in, screamed a little, grounded him, then drove home.
