Jessica stood up. "So, one parent down, nine to go. Five inexperienced dumbasses," looks at Cale. "Fighting nine superhumans with unbelieveable experience. Is it just me, or do I hate the odds?"

Nikk slowly stirred from her slumber, stretching, she sat up in bed and reached for her iPod to check her emails, she had slept so well that night, her mood had greatly improved and her headache had finally gone. I wonder what I should have for breakfast she thought to herself.
"Before I hit the hay, I'm gonna take a shower," Jessica said. "And I don't really care if you come, David."

Putting her iPod down, nikk climbed out of bed and strolled onto the balcony, looking down into the gardens, seeing the beach just behind it. "I wonder what today holds for us" she said softly to herself.
